The Heeler sisters and their friends are on the playground, and the girls and Mackenzie ask Bandit to play with them since they've played on every piece of equipment and are bored. He just tells them to play again, so they do, then ask him again. He says he's too big, so Mackenzie suggests they go to the creek. Bandit agrees, and Bingo is keen but Bluey isn't so sure.
Bandit, Bingo, and Mackenzie eagerly head into the scrub, but Bluey wants to stay behind. Mackenzie drags her into the woods, and they all head off. Bluey, however, is nervous, especially when leeches fall on her and Mackenzie. However, they do also note a beautiful lizard.
Bluey's fears return, however, when the group has to walk on uneven ground and she falls and hurts her knee. It isn't serious, however, and Bandit gets her to get up and run by joking about amputating her leg.
When they arrive at the eponymous creek, they have to cross it. Bluey has trouble on the stepping stones, which eventually scares her, but then she gets over her fears. However, she becomes scared again when she must jump a small waterfall after the others.
She eventually jumps it anyway, and they all appreciate the view. Then, they wade in the creek and look at the tadpoles, who are nibbling their toes. Bandit asks the kids if they want to go back to the playground, but they (even Bluey now) want to stay. They make toy boats, dam up the creek, make a pretend day spa, and then Bluey sees an animalnote . Then, everyone heads home.

- Black Comedy: When Bluey scraps her knee, Bandit casually jokes that they'll have to amputate her leg off. This sends Bluey running off screaming. The joke doesn't end there, as Bandit adds that she still has the other leg.
