The team encounters Galapagus, an alien who comes from the Andromeda galaxy. He recalls to them how he, as well as Bivalvan and three other aliens, were kidnapped by an enigmatic individual known as Aggregor.

  • A Day in the Limelight: The episode largely centers around the Andromeda aliens, their personalities and their story on how they were captured by Aggregor and how they escaped on Earth.
  • Batman Cold Open: The episode begin with the team fighting Dr. Animo who controls a Yeti. It doesn't have any connections to the rest of the story, and he's subdued fairly quickly.
  • Back for the Dead: Magister Prior Gilhil returns in this episode, where he responds to the call for help sent by Galapagus. When he requests to search more thoroughly, Aggregor kills him.
  • Brainwashed: The yeti thanks to Dr. Animo's headband. That said, it does stare in confusion alongside Ben and his friends once Dr. Animo reveals his plan is to use his bomb to turn everyone into Yetis.
  • Call-Back: After noting that Galapagus isn’t causing any real harm, Ben and Kevin assume it's another baby alien. Later, Gwen points out that it might be a case like the dragon, in that the alien can’t communicate with humans without a translator.
  • Downer Ending: In the end, Galapagus is taken on a Plumber ship so he can return to his home. However, the pilot is revealed to be Aggregor, who kidnaps him yet again.
  • Filler Villain: Dr. Animo, now using his original alias and acting like his original self pre-Null Void takeover, is fought by the trio in the beginning of the episode. His scheme of turning the entire world into yetis isn't super prevalent to the main plot though.
  • Foreshadowing: Galapagus refers to a deity of his named Addwaitya, who we’ll be meeting soon enough…
  • Hoist by His Own Petard: Dr. Animo has created a device that brainwashes and gives him control over a Yeti in the Himalayan mountains that he uses against Ben. After he turns into Brainstorm though, Ben is able to reconfigure the device so that the yeti serves him instead of Animo, before allowing him to go free.
  • "Inescapable" Prison Easily Escaped: Once they put their minds to it, Bivalvan facilitates everyone’s escape. Though they still manage to get recaptured once, before making a second, more successful escape.
  • Offscreen Villain Dark Matter: Averted. Aggregor having a Plumber’s ship and gear would seem like this if we hadn’t seen him kill the Magister in the flashback.
  • Third-Person Person: While fighting Ben as Four Arms, Dr. Animo proudly announces the abilities he has in a diabolically hammy way, much to Kevin's annoyance.
  • Translator Microbes: Kevin's Plumber Badge is able to translate for Galapagus.
  • Wham Line: After hearing Galapagus's story, Ben calls the Plumbers to help him get home safely. Galapagus thanks the Plumber onboard for his help...only to recoil in horror when he realizes who the man really is.
Aggregor: Who says you're going home?
  • Whole Episode Flashback: A large portion of the episode is about how the Andromeda aliens got to Earth, told through a flashback.
