A creature, nicknamed Tiny, gets released by DNAliens and Ben's team have to track him down. As it turns out, he is a she as well as a baby.

This episode includes examples of:

  • Agitated Item Stomping: Tiny stomps on a traffic light she broke after she becomes frustrated with it no longer lighting up.
  • Aura Vision: Tiny (and by extent her species) apparently have the ability to detect who's an Anodite. From first glance alone, she was able to see Gwen's inner Anodite.
  • Baby's First Words: As her family is leaving Earth, Tiny says her first word: “Gwen”.
  • Back-to-Back Badasses: Ben as Chromastone and Kevin fight in this pose against the DNAliens.
  • Breaking the Bonds: Ben as Humungosaur does this when Tiny wraps a guardrail around him, pinning his arms down.
  • Call-Back: Professor Paradox's experiment from “Paradox” is mentioned as being the reason Tiny and her parents were stuck in stasis for roughly 50 years.
  • Crystal Landscape: The episode opens in one, as the DNAliens are using a Drill Tank to mine crystal quartz.
  • Gigantic Adults, Tiny Babies: As big as Tiny is, her parents are even bigger.
  • Human Popsicle: Well, alien popsicle. Tiny’s family was traveling across the galaxy while in stasis when their spaceship crashed. They were buried for decades until the DNAliens’ mining unearthed them.
  • I'm Taking Her Home with Me!: What Tiny would like to do with Gwen, but her parents won’t let her.
  • Insistent Terminology: Everyone in the group begins correcting each other when they catch themselves calling Tiny “it” or “that” instead of “she”.
  • Instantly Proven Wrong: Ben is telling Gwen that their mission has nothing to do with the monster right before the DNAliens arrive and shout “There’s the creature!”.
  • Ironic Name: Gwen decides to name the giant monster they found “Tiny”.
  • Keep Away: Ben, Kevin, and Gwen play this with the DNAliens’ power coupling.
  • Mama Bear: Gwen goes berserk when the DNAliens shoot Tiny and injure her.
  • Not Evil, Just Misunderstood: At first, Ben and Kevin mistake the monster’s every movement as evil and something they need to defend themselves against. However, they come to realize that Tiny is actually just a baby who doesn’t mean any harm.
  • Rhetorical Question Blunder:
Gwen: Well, do you want to keep standing around arguing about it or help me hide [Tiny]?
Ben: I’d like to keep standing around.
Kevin: I’d like to keep arguing about it.
  • Samus Is a Girl: It takes a while for our heroes to learn Tiny is actually an infant girl, Gwen being the first to know.
  • Spanner in the Works: Tiny stealing the power coupling for the DNAlien drill sets the plot in motion and leads to the scheme being foiled.
  • Surprisingly Realistic Outcome: Taking care of a baby isn't a fool's errand. For the next twenty-four hours alone, Ben, Gwen and Kevin are run ragged trying to take care of Tiny and keep her entertained.
  • Tertiary Sexual Characteristics: Subverted. Tiny's species don't have any apparent indications of whose male and whose female. It's Played for Laughs when Gwen reveals Tiny's a girl, prompting a confused Kevin to point out she's not wearing a bow or anything that would indicate so (to the point that it's the quote for the main page). Gwen is exasperated that Kevin never quite paid attention in health class concerning these things.
  • Watch the Paint Job: As usual, Kevin’s precious car gets damaged. This time, it’s due to Tiny taking a bite out of it.
Gwen: Don’t put that in your mouth, you don’t know where it’s been!
