Ben's secret is out. As Ben deals with his newfound fame, a new threat emerges as a thief steals parts of a new advanced spaceship from NASA.- Accidental Misnaming: Until Ben corrected him, Jimmy thought Jetray’s name was Jeffrey.
- Child Prodigy: Jimmy tells Ben that he was looking at pictures of aliens around the world and noticed that most of them came from Bellwood. He found that some of them were wearing the Omnitrix symbol and Jimmy was able to piece together Ben's identity from a picture of him wearing the Omnitrix.
- Cliffhanger: Bivalvan assumes that the Plumbers have arrived to pick him up, only to see that Aggregor has got to him first.Aggregor: No one escapes me, Bivalvan.
- Deducing the Secret Identity: Jimmy realizes that Ben is all the mysterious aliens that fight crime because he notices that they are frequently seen in Bellwood. Also, he collects pictures of them and notices that all the aliens have the same dial as Ben's "watch". Too bad that Jimmy is too young to realize the consequences of exposing Ben's identity to the world; he thinks that Ben deserves to be famous.
- Didn't Think This Through: As mentioned above, Jimmy didn't realize that Ben and his friends were intentionally trying to keep his identity as a superhero anonymous so as to not attract more attention than it's worth. Kevin in particular is incredibly upset with Jimmy, outright accusing him of ruining Ben's life.
- Empty Quiver: Bivalvan steals the nuclear bomb powering Project Orion
. - Graceful Loser: After Ben subdues him and Kevin disarms the bomb he stole, Bivalvan concedes defeat and cooperates with the heroes by explaining how he got stranded on Earth with 4 other aliens who were kidnapped by Aggregor.
- Halfway Plot Switch: From Ben's identity being subject to a Broken Masquerade, to Team Tennyson investigating an alien stealing parts from NASA.
- Lack of Empathy: Bivalvan doesn't seem to care too much about potentially killing millions of people upon launching his ship, nor does he care much about hurting people who try to stop him.
- One Phone Call: Ben attempts to invoke this after he's thrown in jail by the U.S military. Thankfully, Colonel Rozum is quick to order his release.
- Pet the Dog: Ben's former bullies Cash and JT lead the applause for Ben at his school, noting that he's done some genuinely great things, and that the school worships him for it.
- Puny Earthlings: When Kevin learns that NASA is building a starship, he’s happy, because he’s been embarrassed to tell his friends he comes from Earth.
- The Reveal: Kevin manages to track down who leaked Ben’s secret to the press. When the trio arrive at the address, they’re shocked to discover that the so-called "mastermind" is a 10-year-old boy named Jimmy Jones, who’s actually a fan of Ben.
- Wham Episode: Ben’s secret is revealed to the world.
- Wham Line: We get one right at the beginning of the episode."The aliens are already among us, strange creatures with unbelievable powers. Aliens are real, but that isn't the amazing part. This is: All of the creatures you've just seen are actually alter egos of one man. His name... is Ben Tennyson."
- Wide-Eyed Idealist: Jimmy had no idea revealing Ben's identity might cause him so many problems; he merely thought Ben deserved proper recognition for all the good he'd done.
