When Ben and Rook investigate a mysterious alien ghost ship, they discover that Argit and the Vreedle Brothers are fighting for possession of a doomsday device!

- Apocalypse How: Class X-4. The Annihilarg shoots a blast of purple lightning into the sky, then spreads a wave of pure nothingness from itself, consuming Earth in seconds and spreading across the universe in record time. Alien X is untouched, but Ben can still see more holes getting blown in reality itself and hear the screams of every living being just before they're obliterated.
- Five-Second Foreshadowing: Mr. Smoothie having a new appearance in the recreated universe is set up by the fact their cup lids are now green rather than white.
- Neglectful Precursors: The Contumelia left a fully armed Doomsday Device on a ship where anyone can find it.
- No-Sell: Alien X is completely unaffected by the destruction of the universe. In fact, he doesn't even realize that it's happening at first.
- Not Quite Back to Normal: After Ben recreates the universe, he now has a hoodie, Mr. Smoothy has a new design and and the grape smoothie tastes different.
- Overly Long Name: The Annihilargh was named as such because everyone who attempts to say the full name dies mid-sentence.
- Point of Divergence: The universe’s continued existence is due to Ben changing events so that the Annihilargh was a dud.
- Status Quo Is God: Rook finally sees that Alien X is indeed real, but due to the universe's destruction and subsequent recreation, he has no memory of it.
- Too Dumb to Live: The Vreedles activate a universe destroying Doomsday Device and suggest retreat to a safe distance to evade its effects.
- Wham Episode: Hoo boy, is it ever. Ben fails to stop the Annihilargh from destroying the universe, and thus, as Alien X, ends up recreating it.
