- Deadpan Snarker: When Stephanie threatens to do things "the hard way", Jason scoffs that he's petrified.
- Motive = Conclusive Evidence: Stephanie believes Damian is the only one who can't be the sandwich thief, because as a vegetarian, turkey wouldn't be something he would eat. This backfires on her when it turns out that though Damian didn't eat the sandwich, he did take it.
- Mundane Made Awesome: Stephanie begins a full detective investigation to figure out who took her sandwich, going as far as using Ace to try and track down who ate it.
- The Nose Knows: Stephanie gives Ace a napkin to sniff that was in contact with the sandwich and tells him to find the thief for her. He just licks her face, and she grumpily states she should have known that he's no snitch.
- Not Me This Time: Jason continues to swear innocence, but Steph is fairly certain it's him simply because it's something he'd do. Jason lampshades that no one ever believes in his protestations of innocence.
- Serious Business: While the boys try to brush off her concerns, Steph won't just let it go and interrogates them trying to figure out who ate her sandwich, rather than just make another. It backfires, given that the boys are telling the truth; Damian put her sandwich in the refrigerator. If she'd just gone to make a replacement, she would presumably have seen it and saved everyone a lot of trouble.
- Tempting Fate: When asked why she isn't considering Damian as a suspect, Steph states that he's a vegetarian, and thus he couldn't have taken her turkey sandwich. It's revealed at the end that Damian was the culprit, as he saw the sandwich sitting out and put it in the fridge. Steph's "suspects" are not amused.
