Main Plot: The Justice League International host a party on the Watchtower for themselves and the Justice Society of America, but the two teams fail to get along and a brawl breaks out. Meanwhile, Batman attempts to stop Ra's al Ghul's latest scheme but runs into trouble.
- As Himself: Stand up comedian Jeffrey Ross is kidnapped from his latest show in the teaser to help provide jokes for Batman's roast. His material is funny enough to distract everyone else long enough for Batman to escape and lay waste to the bad guys. Ross even has the honor of taking down Joker.
- Big Damn Heroes: The Justice League and Justice Society burst in to save Batman and Talia in the climax.
- It Makes Sense in Context: Batman: "Can't talk now — skiing ninjas.... with lasers!!!"
- The Roast: Joker holds one for Batman as the Caped Crusader is captive. And literally being roasted on a spit over a roaring fire.
- The Voiceless: Talia doesn't say anything here.
- Took a Level in Kindness: Captain Atom and the Spectre are way nicer here then in their previous appearances.
