  • Asshole Victim: Mira's slimy fiancee, who pursues her after Taiya picks her up from the Church to try and get her to marry him against her will, is ran off the road by Yalcar.
  • Badass Driver: Mira proves herself to almost prodigious at driving the Boonboom Wagon on her first outingnote , easily outmaneuvering a Gyasoline-empowered Yalcar.

  • Rule of Symbolism: Taiya noting how Mira doesn't like when others take the wheel when he's the one driving her to her boyfriend. It's only after she literally takes the wheel does she decide to become her own woman.
  • Running Gag: The Boonboomgers and the Sanseaters staunchly obeying the rules of the road despite the insane circumstances surrounding them. Even in giant form.
  • Take a Third Option: Mira is confronted with a choice: either let her Arranged Marriage go through, or elope with her boyfriend. She chooses neither, choosing to join the Boonboomgers to carve her own path instead.
