The Aqua Teens prepare to celebrate Halloween but are interrupted by Willie Nelson (not the country star), a spider-onion like creature who has been hiding in their attic.
"The Shaving" contains examples of:
- Affably Evil: Willie is a pretty chill and likeable guy despite killing people for their "juice".
- Be Careful What You Wish For: Shake spends the entire episode training the seemingly harmless Willie Nelson into acting like the monster he is, only to become as horrified as everyone else towards the episodes end with the revelation that Willie is more than capable at being a monster.
- Cruel Twist Ending: IN SPADES. Most of the episode follows the Aqua Teens and Carl going about their night like usual with the inclusion of the mild-mannered, affable monster they've just met. One minute left in the episode, it immediately turns into a horror show with it being revealed that Willie is a serial killer who feasts on the mangled corpses of his victims, adding Carl to the body count before the credits roll.
- Monster Misogyny: Master Shake attempts to invoke this trope while training Willie Nelson on how to be scary:Shake: Now remember, you have no regard for human life, most especially women; because they have the organs, that you wish that you had, so you wanna make a suit from them!
- Obliviously Evil: Willie doesn't seem to realize just how horrific his methods of getting "juice" are. He seems to treat one of his victims as still alive upon seeing a missing person's picture. He also offers some of Carl's "juice" in a genuinely affable manner to the Aqua Teens, only to be confused when they seal the attic.
