His wife then puts rat poison in his tea.
- Pop-Culture Pun Episode Title: The title is based on Gene Kranz's quote "Failure is not an option!" from Apollo 13.
- Retirony: The cop who finds the Golden Turd is a week away from retirement when his wife poisons him.
- Stunned Silence: With Francine cleaning people's homes, Steve missing another chance to lose his virginity, and Hayley selling her body for prostitution, all three are completely silent as Stan gloats that his scheme worked.
