- Famous Ancestor: Ahmed and Salim's uncle is revealed to be Osama bin Laden.
- Hidden Depths: Salim says that when he grows up, he wants to be a doctor, suggesting that he's a lot smarter and willing to help others than he lets on. This does not go over well with the Mrs. Rudjkes, who scolds him furiously for wanting to be something useful to society rather than a destructive and harmful terrorist.
- Hypocritical Humor: Osama makes fun of Christians and Jews for having ridiculous religious beliefs that are clearly false, while also promoting the truth and feasibility of Islam.
- Info Dump: Osama Bin Laden dumps a bunch of teachings of Islam onto the kids for the musical number's breakdown.Osama: Us Muslims only believe in reason and scientific facts!
