Though any WereMobian can turn others through DNA stored in their fangs (for those who have them), the affected individual will become what is classified as a Demi-Were, or a WereMobian that only transforms into their bestial form at night, rather than the True Were classification, who can control their transformations at any time of day and are born naturally. Demi-Weres can also be turned through means such as curses, though the transformation will be permanently part of the affected's DNA if they were bitten. Those born to a True Were parent and a normal Mobian will be unable to transform, but will have some Were traits, such as claws and lush fur, for those who have either of them, and the strength of a Were. It is not rare for a True Were to be born with mystical powers, especially the awesome power known as the Unleashed Mode, in which the individual taps into their inner energy, whether generated or absorbed, in order to enhance their abilities temporarily. It can be activated at any point, but it will also be activated through very strong emotions, such as anger. Though all True Weres are able to access the Unleashed Mode, it is extremely rare for a Demi-Were to be capable of using this ability, and even rarer so for them to inherit this ability when turned. As previously mentioned, those who are half True Were are unable to shift despite having some Were traits special to their species, but this also applies to those who are a quarter True Were or less. However, there is one species that this does not apply: the Werewolf. They have a form that is awakened when they are especially enraged fittingly known as the Rage Form. Their muscle mass will increase in order to double their size and strength. Once soothed, the transformation will be reversed. All True Werewolves are able to have this form, even with the lack of a standard form in the case of those half True Werewolf or lesser.

"WereMobians are descendants of some who once served Dark Gaia; his former minions, to clarify a bit. They were unexpectedly separated from the rest of their group one night, millions of years ago, around the emergence of the first humans and Mobians. It was just about time for dawn to arrive. They froze in place as soon as the sun began to appear, far too late to try to locate the others, but as soon as they were exposed to the light, something wondrous happened. Suddenly, these creatures could speak, they could feel, they could think, and most of all, they became fully sentient. No longer were they the mindless servants of a god of darkness, they were creatures just like you and me. Upon seeing a Mobian for the first time, they wanted to blend in without revealing themselves to them. They tried to replicate their forms, but the first attempt wasn't perfect. They'd become somewhat monstrous versions of those Mobians, which they settled with, but they continued to keep at it, finally achieving their goal of blending in like normal Mobians after some time, shifting into their bestial form whenever they pleased, as long as it was during the day, for night would bring it out regardless. Thus, the WereMobian was born. Years after their emergence, the first Weres came across an incident that would change their species forever. One accidentally scratched their non-Were brethren with their fangs, not realizing that their ability to change others into their kind remained with them. That night, the affected found themselves turning into a Were. However, when the sun rose the next morning, their body returned to its original form. When night fell once more, they would again transform into their newly-obtained bestial state. This was when the species was split into two different classifications: the original WereMobians, who would now be considered the True Were, and the Demi-Were, those who would only shift in the presence of night."
