In America, we got Final Fantasy I, II and III, and the next one we got was Final Fantasy VII. But as I already discussed, these (Final Fantasy II and Final Fantasy III) are actually Final Fantasy IV and VI. We never got the actual NES Final Fantasy II and Final Fantasy III. Then, Final Fantasy VIII came out. Just a few weeks later, we finally got Final Fantasy V, when it was ported onto the PlayStation 1 inside Final Fantasy Anthology.
