"You are marked, up-worlder. Even my dim old eyes can see the mantle of destiny that cloaks you."
Rukil

"There is no emotion, there is peace.
There is no ignorance, there is knowledge.
There is no passion, there is serenity.
There is no chaos, there is harmony.
There is no death; there is the Force."
Grand Master Vandar Tokare, reciting the Code of the Jedi

"Peace is a lie, there is only passion.
Through passion, I gain strength.
Through strength, I gain power.
Through power, I gain victory.
Through victory, my chains are broken.
The Force shall set me free."
Yuthura Ban, reciting the Code of the Sith

HK-47: Statement: HK-47 is ready to serve, master.
Protagonist: You don't need to call me master, you know.
HK-47: Query: Don't I? I was under the assumption that organic meatbags such as yourself enjoyed such forms of address.
Protagonist: "Organic meatbags?"
HK-47: Retraction: Did I say that out loud? I apologize, master. While you are a meatbag, I suppose I should not call you as such.
Protagonist: You just called me a meatbag again!
HK-47: Explanation: It's just that... you have all these squishy parts, master. And all that water! How the constant sloshing doesn't drive you mad, I have no idea...
Protagonist: Neither do I, come to think of it...
HK-47: Statement: Now do you understand the travails of my existence, master? Surely it does not compare to your existence, but still...
Protagonist: I survive. Somehow.
HK-47: Commentary: As do I. It is our lot in life, I suppose, master. Shall we find something to kill to cheer ourselves up?

Jolee Bindo: I did it all for the Wookiees.
Protagonist: (deadpan) The Wookiees?
Jolee: (exuberant) The Wookiees!

Bastila Shan: The Jedi do not believe in killing their prisoners. No one deserves execution, no matter what their crimes.
Zhar Lestin: The council would not normally accept an adult for training, but this is a special case.
Carth Onasi: They say the Force can do terrible things to a mind. It can wipe away your memories and destroy your very identity.
Bastila: Tatooine... Kashyyyk... Manaan... Korriban. Revan visited each of these worlds searching for clues to reveal the hidden location of the Star Forge.
Vrook Lamar: The lure of the dark side is difficult to resist. I fear this quest to find the Star Forge could lead you down an all too familiar path.
Bastila: What greater weapon is there than to turn an enemy to your cause? To use their own knowledge against them?
The Revelation

"You can't hide from what you once were, Revan! Recognise that you were once the Dark Lord! And know that I have taken your place!"
Darth Malak

"You want love, you've got to fight for it. Sometimes no matter how hard you try, you and the one you love simply aren't meant to be. The trick is to know when that is, to know when it's time to fight and when it’s time to part ways. Love causes pain, certainly. Inevitably, love is going to lead to as much sorrow and regret as it does joy. How you deal with the bad part of love determines your character, what determines the dark side’s hold over you. Love doesn’t lead to the dark side. Passion can lead to rage and fear, and can be controlled... But passion is not the same thing as love. Controlling your passions while being in love, that's what they should teach you to beware. But love itself will save you... not condemn you."
Jolee Bindo

Bastila Shan: (has been beaten for the third consecutive time by her bonded partner) No, this is not possible! You have rejected the dark side, you are a weak and pathetic servant of the light! How can you still stand against me? Why can't I defeat you?
Revan: Because the darkness is not stronger than the light.
Bastila: Yes, I see you speak the truth. I am no match for you... Please, for the sake of what we once shared, do not make me suffer. End my life quickly, there is no other way.
Revan: I could never kill you, Bastila.
Bastila: What other choice do you have? I have fallen, I am the apprentice to the Dark Lord himself. You cannot let me live.
Revan: You can overcome the dark side, Bastila. Return to the light.
Bastila: No... I am not strong enough. There is too much anger inside me now. Too much hatred and fear. I can no longer find peace in the Force.
Revan: Use our bond then. Take your strength from me.
Bastila: You always had more strength than I did... I told you that. I felt so... helpless before your destiny. You were Revan and I couldn't tell you... It was agonizing! Even worse when I began to... feel closer to you. I despised myself for it. And even now... I feel your strength. It does help me. Thank you. I think I can face the end now. If you are the one to end it for me.
Revan: ...I love you, Bastila. I will never abandon you; ever.
Bastila: (plaintive) You love me? Heh... There was a time I yearned for and yet dreaded to hear those words. I loved you too, but I could never face who you were. Malak knew how I felt. Any part of the light that was within me would be extinguished when I killed you. But what good is love? It cannot save me from the sea of blackness I am drowning in. I have betrayed everything I ever believed in! How can I atone for that?!
Revan: Help me finish what I started. Come up out of that pit Malak has cast you in. End the Sith at my side.
Bastila: ...Yes, I could join you in your battle against the Dark Lord. That alone would not make up for all I have done... Yet it would be a step in the right direction. But how would you be able to trust me? How do you know I wouldn't turn on you when you faced Darth Malak? How do you know the dark side wouldn't make me betray you again?
Revan: You saved me from death once before. I would leave myself open to any attack from you, and trust you with my life; as you trust me with yours.
Bastila: You play a dangerous game. Are you certain you wish to take the risk? I could end your life and gain Malak's favour with a single stroke of my lightsaber.
Revan: Of course I would, Bastila. Always and forever. And as for how I know you will not strike me down. Why, it is because I love you and because I believe in you.
Bastila: You are brave... and some would say foolish. But you are also right. The dark side has not wholly consumed me. I cannot raise my blade against you. You will go on to defeat Malak, of this I have little doubt. You will have gone from being the Sith Lord himself to the saviour of our galaxy. And you said you loved me... This may not be the best time to say it but... I love you too. With all my heart.
Revan: You are not afraid to love anymore?
Bastila: After this? No, nothing could make me feel safer than to be loved by you.

"Saviour, conqueror, hero, villain. You are all of these things, Revan... and yet you are nothing. In the end, you belong to neither the light nor the darkness. You will forever stand alone."
Darth Malak

Darth Malak: (as he's brought to his knees by Revan's final blow) Im— (hacks out a cough) impossible. I... I cannot be beaten. I am the Dark Lord of the Sith...
Revan: This is the way of the dark side, Malak — all things end in death.
Malak: Still... still spouting the wisdom of the Jedi, I see. Maybe there is more truth in their code than I ever believed. I... I cannot help but wonder, Revan. What would have happened had our positions been reversed? What if fate had decreed I would be captured by the Jedi? Could I have returned to the light, as you did? If you had not led me down the dark path in the first place, what destiny would I have found?
Revan: I am sorry I started you on this path. But you chose to continue down it.
Malak: I suppose... I suppose you speak the truth. I alone must accept responsibility for my fate. I wanted to be Master of the Sith and ruler of the galaxy. But that destiny was not mine, Revan. It might have been yours, perhaps... but never mine. And in the end, as the darkness takes me... I am nothing. (dies)

"ALL HAIL LORD REVAN! ALL HAIL LORD REVAN! ALL HAIL LORD REVAN!"
The Infinite Army

Veela: Brother Canderous vouched for you, so you can stay, but if you betray us, I'll kill you. If your weakness causes one of my people to get hurt, I'll kill you. If you slow us down, I'll kill you. Is that clear?
Revan: Wait, what was that second one again? Maybe I should write this down.
