Basic Trope: An evil entity is sealed within an incongruously cute body.
- Straight: The Moonspider, a huge spider-like beast made of pure shadow that dwells on the Moon's dark side, has been locked inside a teddy bear for hundreds of years with the help of a magic spell. The teddy bear in question, moves of its own right and can be seen in different places randomly. When the time is right, it will ascend and become corporeal, plunging the planet into a thousand years of darkness.
- Exaggerated: The Matriarch of Death is a gigantic tentacled beast who's capable of erasing ANYTHING from any point in space-time if she so desires. Mankind knew of an ancient prophecy that the Matriarch was going to destroy their planet soon, so with the help of a powerful spell activated by the cuteness of 108 bunnies, kittens and puppies, the Matriarch was permanently sealed inside an adorable Exotic Shorthair kitten. BUT, the kitten tends to be quite aggressive and it's more likely to attack when provoked. If the Matriarch is ever reawakened, accidentally or not, she'll destroy the planet without warning and signifying it with a loud, eerie screech.

- Zig Zagged: The Moonspider often traverses from cute doll-to-creepy doll. First it is inside a teddy bear. Then the Moonspider moves into a creepy doll that looks too realistic to be one, then it's inside a bunny plush.
- Averted: The Moonspider isn't sealed inside anything at all, nor is it evil - it's just a regular spider.
- Enforced: The budget didn't allow for both a Moonspider prop and a custom sealing can, and the teddy was one of the few props (if not the only one) not yet used for something else in the show.
