Basic Trope: A character's Stripperiffic outfit does not get the character any attention.
- Straight: Alice walks down the street in a bikini, but no one thinks it is odd.
- Exaggerated:
- Alice has never worn any clothes in her life, and this is never commented on.
- Everyone ogles Claire, even though Alice is more attractive and is less clothed.
- Everyone is disgusted at Alice and tells her to put some clothes on.
- Downplayed: Alice's outfit occasionally gets her a couple of glances, but those people are shown staring at everyone.
- Justified:
- Everyone is used to seeing Alice in some state of undress.
- Everyone is that busy and distracted by work.
- Everyone Alice passes is blind.
- Although Alice seems attractive to us, the beauty standards of her society consider her ugly.
- Nobody Alice walks past swings that way.
- Bob knows for a fact that if someone as hot as Alice is doing her damnedest to make him look her way, let alone seduce him, there must definitely be some kind of plan afoot in which he's the patsy.
- Inverted: Distracted by the Sexy
- Subverted:
- Alice had been using Perception Filter magic to keep people from seeing her; once she drops it everyone gawks at her.
- Everyone was distracted by someone even sexier than Alice.
- Double Subverted: This is only because she appeared to come out of nowhere. After the first time somebody acknowledges Alice, they go on ignoring her.
- Parodied: Alice is naked in a highly trafficked area during rush hour and standing under a massive billboard reading: "Attractive Nude Woman. Ogle at Your Leisure," yet no one notices.
- Zig-Zagged: Whether Alice gets stares or not varies wildly.
- Averted: Alice's outfit attracts stares.
- Enforced: Alice is the Player Character, and the developers don't have time to reanimate new reactions to the Stripperiffic outfits the player can pick out.
- Lampshaded: "I went [scantily]/[un]clad hoping boys would look at me."
- Invoked: A Bad Boss brainwashes his minions, and then uses Alice to find out if it is working.
- Exploited: Alice is a criminal and uses this effect to do whatever she wants.
- Defied: Bob decides to ogle Alice.
- Discussed: "Why aren't they looking at you? You're hot as heck and you've got nothing on but a bikini?"
- Conversed: Alice and Bob are watching TV. "Why is no one looking at Alice with what she is wearing?" "Or, maybe more to the point, what she is not wearing?"
- Implied: During a scene Alice is only shown in tight facial shots, implying minimal or no clothing. Nonetheless, characters do not react to her presence unusually.
- Deconstructed: Alice gets arrested.
