- Downplayed: The garden's plants have Alice and Bob be a bit dizzy but nothing too worse.

- An evil Mad Scientist made the plants poisonous to research their effects on humans.
- Poison cures need something to test against.
- Inverted: The garden's plants instantly heals a heavily wounded Alice and Bob.
- Subverted: The garden's plants seems to poison Alice and Bob... but then it's revealed they had food poisoning before they came in.
- Double Subverted: Then the plants make them sicker.
- Parodied: The garden's plants brainwash Alice and Bob into dancing to very bad songs.
