- Drake and Alice are Dragons-in-Chief, posing a far greater threat than Evulz ever could, and it's made clear that they are simply using him to further their own plans.

- Downplayed: Drake and Alice share the role of being Evulz' Mook Lieutenants.

- Evulz is too busy to do everything himself, so he has multiple enforcers to help him out.
- Emperor Evulz has a big empire. In order to run it, he's going to need more than one enforcer.
- Evulz is smart enough to know one of his enforcers will either die, have a Heel–Face Turn or become The Starscream and he is prepared for that.
- Emperor Evulz, King Bad and Queen Regnant Malicia joined forces and Evulz has since become the leader. note

The two frequently clash as a result, and their internal squabbling disrupts Evulz's wider plans. This culminates in Evulz's assassination by Alice as part of an attempted power grab, only for Drake to kick off an Enemy Civil War aimed toward Avenging the Villain; this ultimately weakens them both and allows the heroes to foil Evulz's plans.
