• During All Might and Nedzu's visit to the Ziggurat, the latter details some rather... terrifying details.
  • To begin with, it was a monument built to the Ancient of Malice. The Ancient of Malice is described as the equivalent of a kid that would burn ants with a magnifying glass and then rip their legs to see them struggle to move. Imagine what it was meant to be. And Malice understood good and evil just fine: he just embodied the latter.
  • Before Malice was killed in the First Dawn War, anyone with any sensitivity would feel every feeling of pain greatly amplified.
  • The stone it's made of? Not stone at all. It's human flesh and blood, forced through magic into that form. And to make sure it would withstand the passage of time, it needed a certain type of immaterial ties - so each block was made from an entire family.
  • And the rooms are empty... because they were once full of furniture made out of human leather and bones, and they eventually rotted away.
  • The room where Izuku found Aiko was a maze where people were locked in complete darkness with nothing to feed on save for each other, no way to communicate because magic prevented people from speaking. And people couldn't even seek peace in death, because the magic kept healing people, no matter what the injury was.
• Todoroki learns a spell that can metaphorically "freeze" a person in a state of mind for a few hours. That state of mind can be anything - such as, for example, suffering the most excruciating pain someone can go through. The origin of that spell comes from a bunch of initiates from the Whites in the Russian Civil War, who were able to make the effect permanent, forcing the Reds to Mercy Kill thousands of soldiers because they were locked on in a "rout" mode, so they would have kept running away non-stop until they died of exhaustion or thirst. And, according to Todoroki, there were worse spells in that list.
• The deformed Dawn War Super-Soldier that the team finds in Malice's base is so disturbing that it's the first being that Izuku can't find arousing.
