The Final Minutes does not disappoint in delivering the atmospheric horror that EAS Scenarios have become known for. Whether it's zombies, kaijus, or natural disasters, the end is truly nigh.

Zombie Plague

Part One

• The virus is the result of a terrorist attack Gone Horribly Wrong, spreading the viruses that will go on to create zombies into the air. Already, the situation is doomed - by the time of the first warning, the virus is airborne and five cities are at risk of contamination, alongside any town that's downwind. Within two hours, several cities are under attack from zombified citizens who never had a chance to prepare, and six hours after that, there are reports of zombie outbreaks in countries all over the East.
  Persons downwind within 50 kilometers of these locations may have already been infected... Do not go outside.
• In that same timeframe, it becomes clear that the EAS services around the world are already beginning to deteriorate, as they cut between each other in Real Time as though their feeds are actually cutting out. It creates a terrifying air that civilization is already beginning to break apart.
• Within two hours, the zombies are described as having multiple open wounds on their faces and bodies, but it is not yet known that those killed by zombies reanimate as zombies. As far as they know, all it takes is a mere airborne virus to turn someone from healthy to a walking corpse within two hours.
• The spread of the infection is fast and lethal. Within hours, several countries besides Australia are reporting outbreaks, zombie attacks, and mass casualties.
  • New Zealand becomes the first country besides Australia to become infected and they become overrun within hours. Communication with the South Island is cut at some point, and major towns and ski resorts are already fallen by the time they make their first broadcast.
  • Indonesia is next, and by the time they broadcast, Bali, with a population in the millions, has been largely overrun by zombies, and a plane with an infected has landed in Jakarta, kicking off an attack at the airport. All they can do is urge anyone in Bali who isn't infected to get to a shelter as soon as they can, while warning the rest of the country to stock up on food and water and then not go outside.
  • By the time the infection reaches Thailand, it has become clear that this is a global catastrophe. They make the first reports on the zombies known as "Titan Stalkers", and while they are not described enough to get a picture, every time they are mentioned in a broadcast, it is with the news that thousands of deaths have followed them. The virus isn't just spreading, it's already mutating in less than twelve hours. Thailand has no choice but to authorize everyone who has a gun to use lethal force against the zombies because the situation has already deteriorated that badly. China itself (and Korea, as we find out later) is already facing a similar level of danger when they make their first broadcast, as Titan Stalkers attacked Shanghai and caused thousands of casualties, and they're telling citizens to not engage any avian species, implying that birds are becoming infected as well. The Korean broadcast also is the first one to mention its national leader disappearing, with the information about their status or whereabouts claimed "unknown", without any clear confirmation if they're still alive.
• As the outbreak starts going global, we check back in on Australia and see that lethal measures are being used. Drivers are told not to stop for anyone in case they're infected, and they're warned that trying to cross the roadblocks outside every major city will be met with lethal force. It then cuts to the Philippines, where they warn their citizens that nuclear attacks from around the world can't be discounted and they are losing contact with the outside world, and then India, where it's confirmed that the zombies are mutating into "dangerous creatures" and that animals are transforming as well.
  The following animals may mutate at any time: dogs, cats, rabbits, horses, snakes and other reptiles, ferrets, guinea pigs, birds, and pigs. This confirms reports being received of domestic pets mutating into zombies and attacking their owners.
• The situation in Australia only continues to deteriorate. In their fifth report, zombies are gathering in hordes numbering between 4-10 thousand, roaming the streets of Sydney and Melbourne, and entering buildings to find new victims to eat. The report advises the citizens in those areas to secure their buildings - including balcony doors, because some of the zombies have been observed climbing walls. The emergency shelters are closing within a few minutes, hordes all over the country are moving through the country killing everything in sight, and avian species are beginning to mutate, with birds attacking other animals and humans. Though this report does confirm that zombies can be killed, it's made clear that Australia itself is already doomed. One of Australian broadcasts is cut off even as it comes to an end - but upon closer look, you can see the first words of a newer broadcast that is not brought up until later - the virus is spreading so rapidly that not even the news station is able to properly respond to the updates.
• Japan, in a horrific yet tragically sensible move, offers the most chilling advice of all - if you are infected, you must kill yourself immediately. It's the only way to prevent yourself from becoming a threat to your friends and family. This is the first time we are hearing from this nation, and it's telling the citizens to be ready to commit suicide to prevent themselves from turning.
  Death is honourable, mutation is not.
• The mutations only continue to get worse, resulting in zombie humans mutating into flying zombies and subterranean creatures. Not only are these zombies resistant to regular attacks, but they also spit a venom that is both highly acidic and instantly fatal - and they've attacked the plane carrying both the Prime Minister and the Opposition Leader, killing the Prime Minister and contaminating the town of Kempsey. Meanwhile, the subterranean zombies are burrowing underground, meaning anyone in a basement, subway, or underground parking garage is about to be breached. The Parliament is overrun with no known survivors, and all wireless networks besides radios are about to go down at any moment, with the next broadcast making it clear that all governmental resistance efforts have completely failed, meaning the citizens are on their own.
• The same broadcast reveals that the infection has indeed made it to North America and Europe, with the statistics showing an estimated 95% of the population is likely to be infected. Australia then follows Japan in encouraging its citizens to immediately commit suicide if they become infected, all while reporting that zombie animals have formed hordes and are making their way through Sydney.
• Soon enough, countries begin nuking others to try to contain the virus. First, Indonesia falls to China, with the report signing off with "We hope you are safe. Long live Indonesia". Then, Australia reveals the United States is nuking Australia, Indonesia, Malaysia, and Papua New Guinea, even though it won't kill all of the burrowing zombies buried in the Earth. Then, it's revealed that ABC-TV in Sydney is under attack, and as they warn that the broadcast may go down at any moment, it shuts down. Australia has been destroyed and it doesn't even stop the zombies in the first place.
• By the time we check in on Europe, it's deep in the throes of infection and the population is being decimated. Italy is having its population decimated by Titan Stalkers and "Hypergiant" zombies, which Columbia explains are zombies that have essentially molded together to form a giant zombie - and that zombie can then merge with Titan Stalkers, creating a Decimator.
• Other countries at this point are going through similar horrors if they're not on the verge of falling completely. The world is already falling apart despite everyone's best efforts.
  • Turkey has no contact with the outside world and is currently being decimated.
  • Germany is nuked, with the final screen being a blank page saying "HILFE!"^note "HELP!" in German.
  • Columbia reports that the singer Carlos Vives is leading a zombie horde and is nuked immediately afterward.
  • Serbia and Sweden are under attack from Titan Stalkers.
  • Saudi Arabia is under attack from flying zombies, and we hear in real time as it emerges from one half of the country's provinces into the other.
  • The United Kingdom has declared martial law, and anyone without identification will be shot on sight. Wildlife and zoo animals are starting to transform as well, flying zombies are attacking anyone on the freeways, and the Opposition Leader mutates into a canine zombie.
  • The Netherlands is encountering aquatic zombies that are attacking boats.
  • Finland's military is engaging "hybrid" zombies and losing.
  • The United States is compiling information on the various kinds of zombies, which now includes "botanical" zombies. That's right, even plants are mutated by this virus - they become triffids, attacking with stingers and venom before using an acid solution to consume their victims. Meanwhile, martial law is in effect nationwide, especially New York (which is quarantined entirely - no one can come in and no one can leave).
  • Canada has to place four provinces under quarantine to try to contain the virus.
• The situation in the United States gets bad enough that the government decides to nuke American cities, including some of the biggest ones in the country like Houston, San Francisco, Miami, and Washington. For cities not being "sterilized", the government tells the citizens to use any weaponry they have to kill the zombies in their area, but that if anyone is suspected of taking advantage of that rule to settle scores or commit felony murder, they will be executed on the spot.
  • These nukes are placed on a ten-minute timer, and for ten straight minutes, we hear the various ways the US has become an absolute hellscape. Zombies are attacking absolutely every major city in the entire country, whether it's by land, sea, or air. Every evacuation effort is going up in flames, heavy casualties are being reported everywhere, Air Force One with the US President on board crashes after getting attacked by the avian zombies, and the military is crumbling. Meanwhile, the entire world is nuking itself trying to get rid of the zombies, with the US's system declaring that it is too late to evacuate any of the cities if anyone is still there with four minutes left to go.
• The first part ends with the knowledge that the entire world has been nuked to oblivion, with no news as to whether anyone, human or zombie, survived the blasts.

Part Two: Aftermath

• The state of the world after the bombs fell: the United Kingdom reports that radiation now covers every land mass across the entire planet, meaning that in seven days, any survivors will be dealing both with zombies and a global nuclear winter.
• Australia hasn't been completely wiped out, but now the survivors are contending both with the nuclear fallout and the zombies, which the blasts weren't even able to destroy entirely. Hordes are gathering in rural areas even as the fallout is killing them off, the flying zombies are actually breeding, and not only did the Titan Stalkers survive, but the nukes actually mutated them further, with the report stating that any contact with a Stalker will end in immediate death. They then tell their citizens that not only must any dead people in their shelter by incinerated in a shallow pit, but that anyone severely injured must be euthanized and incinerated to prevent any reanimations and that the disabled and incapacitated will be ignored by the evacuations.
• Decimator and Hypergiant zombies have become widespread in the United Kingdom, and they have evolved to detect heat and electrical signatures within 300 meters (roughly 984 feet, or the length of three football fields). Even being in the same area as one means they know where you are and will hunt you for food.
• Just to make it clear that the virus is only getting worse, Australia reports a hybrid spider zombie that is three meters tall, as well as that all plant and animal life is to be considered hostile and that the zombies are beginning to cross-breed to survive - the result is a cross between an avian and spider zombie that is capable of killing Titan Stalkers. Meanwhile, militia groups are forming across the country, and a few days later they launch a coup against the government, with The Path fully taking control of Australia.
• When the Path takes control, they begin broadcasting their recruitment messages, and immediately it is clear that this group is cult-like. Even among idyllic images of a beautiful world and hope for a cure, they sprinkle in messages like "your gods have abandoned you" and "the web of life has been torn to shreds", with anyone who joins the group having to pledge themselves and their efforts to the collective.
• 20 years later, when they've effectively taken over the world, The Path puts in their recruitment that while they are very progressive as a society, laziness is a crime for which someone will be either executed or exiled into the outside world.
• A C.U.T. video reveals that the infected have become intelligent enough to play dead, meaning that the only way to ensure something is dead is to incinerate it to ashes. Even then, this doesn't mean you're safe, as the video points out that zombies have been known to spring up and attack if they're set on fire. The same video reveals that forests have effectively become death zones, as the plants within have become infected and will spontaneously attack anything that comes near.
• The Magno-Loop weapon operated by the Path contains two different modes that cause destruction on a global scale, including the self-destruct function, which obliterates absolutely everything within a 100km sphere around it - this includes the Earth itself, which would be destroyed to the put that the upper mantle of the Earth is exposed. The Path controls four of these weapons.
• As the Path comes under fire from just about all sides, the American base comes under attack by Titan Stalkers and they decide to fire the Magno-Loop. The chaos is hellish, with multiple alarms blaring, the screen shaking, the announcements showing that the base is about to be completely overrun, and then, once the Magno-Loop actually fires, atmospheric disturbances that cause lightning storms across all of Asia.
• The C.U.T. eventually reports on a new infected called the "Gestator". It's essentially a giant slug with a human or animal face that specifically protects its womb so that it can give birth to mutant babies. The "birth" consists of 15-60 babies consuming the mother while it's still alive and then leaving the corpse via the mouth, at which point they are immediately hostile and attack everything around them with acid and screams. Of course, in the meantime, the C.U.T. also reports that infected swarms numbering around 2 million are about to attack bases across the world, with complete annihilation of each base likely.
• If the Path is to be believed, the C.U.T. and the Tokyo Confederacy are both attempting to weaponize the XMNV virus and the zombies - the C.U.T. is attempting to use their acid venom within warheads, and the Confederacy are trying to cross-breed zombies to produce a zombie super soldier (which has completely failed so far, as every zombie has followed its instincts, attacked its controllers, and then been destroyed). Their leadership has aligned with a non-aggression pact, meaning the Path is on full defense and preparing for a combined human/zombie attack.
• At long last, the Path creates the cure and begins distributing it to the world. The problem is that the dispersal system is from a missile, and they don't warn anyone ahead of time that they're doing this. The result is that the C.U.T. and the Confederacy destroy the missiles and launch counterattacks against the Path. As the feed's background noise sounds like Hell on Earth, it reports that the C.U.T. is outright nuking the Path, while the Confederacy is launching attacks with mutant soldiers on their side. All for trying to cure the virus that was the true biggest threat in the first place.
• Immediately after this report, the Confederacy reports that the C.U.T. is betraying and nuking them as well, and they responded by releasing Decimators around C.U.T. bases, nuking them back, and then placing all of their bases under a self-destruct mechanism, essentially committing Seppuku en masse. The C.U.T. then goes even further by launching XMNV into the Confederacy's bases.
• At this point, the Path decides that there's no hope for humanity and that "The Earth must be returned to the heavens". To do this, they activate the Magno-Loop's self-destruct mechanisms, outright destroying the planet. The explosions of the Magno-Loops reveal the Mantle of the Earth across the planet, causing a global magnetic destabilization and then a full magnetic reversal. As the screen goes white and the video ends, we hear everything destroy itself as the Earth undergoes a full shockwave, killing absolutely anything that was left behind. In the end, humanity cannibalizes itself and takes the entire planet with it, and it wasn't even the zombies that finished us off.

One-Shots

Trumpocalypse

• The video takes place in the distant future, where it's revealed that the events we are about to witness take place in an Alternate Timeline. The events took place in 14 out of 17 possible timelines, but this one in particular became so unstable that the entire timeline was wiped out within six hours of the events playing out.
• In the events themselves, history was roughly the same until 2017, when President Trump publicly endorsed the Citizen Militia, a right-wing vigilante group. The group publicly attacked and executed minorities, yet gained the President's good graces until they replaced the actual White House security. In response, he was declared insane and impeached... and then all hell broke loose.
• The Militia and police exchange fire outside of the White House and place bombs all over the capital, all of which could go off at any moment. The President himself has access to the nuclear launch codes, meaning nowhere is safe, and the entire nation is essentially placed under lockdown.
• The Lincoln Memorial eventually explodes, taking people and a chunk of the building with it. In the chaos, the President escapes, with his motorcade supervised by more Citizen Militia. Meanwhile, multiple explosions are occurring all over the city, including a small nuclear explosion.
• As the Vice President is flown to Washington, the Militia destroys a section of the border wall, and the motorcade continues moving northeast, with the report warning citizens to prepare for exchanges of gunfire and explosions if they're ever near the motorcade. At the same time, because this isn't bad enough, tornadoes spring up across the entire southeastern United States, and just to top it off, the President orders a nuclear attack, with the destination unknown.
• 20 minutes later, the Vice President has been killed by a nuclear explosion that destroyed Air Force One, all while the nuclear targets are revealed - Moscow, Beijing, London, and Pyongyang. This prompts North Korea, Russia, and China to fire nukes back at America, specifically cities like San Francisco, Chicago, Houston, and Boston. Although the Joint Chiefs of Staff attempt to stop their own launches, it's not enough to prevent the destruction of eight cities around the world.
• In the end, America is torn apart by nuclear explosions, natural disasters, and the Citizen Militia, with 75 nuclear warheads striking the country and, as the opening file showed, destabilizing the timeline to the point that it outright collapsed.
