The Dark Lords of Nerima

  • The power of the Darkmistress to transform into a perfect representation of the person you care about the most, down to their unconscious mannerisms. The positive glee she takes when she realizes Kodachi's warped psyche actually thinks the illusion is her real mother is even more unsettling.
  • The way Ranma's plan looks from Sailor Moon's perspective counts. A mysterious dark lord plans to bring a conquering army in and the advance scouts have already taken out her friends and her temporary allies, leaving her to face a foe who is too skilled and powerful for her to touch. At one point, she honestly thinks Mercury and Mars are dead.

The Dark Lords Strike Back

  • Discussed in passing, but the leader of the Silk Lotus Tribe who joins the army against the Dark Kingdom is an ancient master who has repeatedly cheated death by swapping his soul with that of a younger child whenever it looks like he might die. Fortunately, when Serenity does her mass reset, the magic doesn't see fit to let this state of affairs continue and restores his body's original soul.

The Dark Lords Ascendant

  • Ekim's dedication to an Eldritch Abomination whose (known!) express purpose is to annihilate all life.
  • Metzger is an unapologetic Nazi scientist who has recreated a concentration camp in the Dark Kingdom so he can perform unrestrained unethical experimentation on the remaining youma and other monsters left over from the Senshi's various battles.
  • The Wyrmspawn. A creature created whose only purpose is to kill everything around it, is effectively invulnerable to any conventional (and most unconventional) means of attack, and who can launch Fantastic Nuke energy blasts. It killed Sailor Moon's grandmother and half the Senshi of her era.
  • The conditioning that Unit Zero has undergone since her "birth" has rendered her slavishly devoted to a man who views her as completely expendable.
  • The Nameless One. An eldritch abomination that can crush the soul and will of ordinary people to the point that they will do its bidding no matter the request. From obtaining the items needed to release it from its prison, to being a willing Human Sacrifice, to handing over your own child to die. The best any human mind can do is momentary resistance, ultimately being reduced to a shell of their former selves yearning for the release of death.
  • Metzger's method for implanting the basic knowledge Unit Zero needed basically gave her permanent brain damage; she is mute and Mercury suspects that she might never develop mentally beyond a fifth or sixth grade level.
  • The Distant Finale has something called the "Obsidian Core" in South America, which is a clear Eldritch Abomination.
