While it may have been a kid's show, it still offered up a few scary moments.
- In "Who Goes Where?", Radu is infected with a virus that causes him to hallucinate, and consequently, he sees his friends as hostile aliens who've taken over the ship. Meanwhile, the rest of the crew had to deal with the fact that their strongest member is now mad and on a rampage, and as Goddard notes, Andromedans are very, very hard to fight.
- The premise of "Nowhere Man" - an accident puts Harlan out of phase with the rest of the crew, making him unable to interact with them in any way, and he also happens to be the only one who is aware that the ship is headed into danger.
- In "Prisoner of the Luff", Catalina is taken captive inside a prison satellite, where the overseers intend to wipe her memories.
