Given how high the stakes are in this story, almost every event leaves you at the edge of your seat. Izuku may have been an optimist in his world, but considering the type of world he is in, especially its' immortal enemy. He is in for quite a ride, and not the good kind.
- The fact that six of Izuku's classmates had their souls extracted and reincarnated on a death world like Remnant is frightening on it's own. There's no telling what Salem is going to do when she gets her hands on them.
- Izuku has to find his friends before Salem does and make them remember their lives back on Earth, cause if they die without remembering who they were, then they'll die not just on Remnant but on Earth as well!
- One of Izuku's fears is that the new lives his friends have on Remnant have lead them down the path of villainy. This fear comes true by the end of Chapter 3 where it reveals that Momo has become a Mob Boss, of the Spider Syndicate, no less. She plans to overthrow Roman Torchwick by being the new top dog of the underworld in Vale by robbing all of the dust shops.
- At the beginning of Chapter 1, the brother gods revealed that seven individuals had their souls extracted. It's revealed that the seventh reincarnate is Tomura Shigaraki himself! And on Remnant, he's even Momo's fraternal twin brother!
- Mob Boss Momo is revealed to be very skilled in a lot of fighting styles such as sword forms, staff forms, gun forms, etc. After taking command over Junior's men, she's been training them into becoming more skilled and competent Mooks. This chapter shows how deadly and efficient Momo would be if she were a villain.
- While Izuku was successful in awakening Katsuki's memories of his life on Earth. Chapter 8 reveals the Hound on the loose looking for Quirk users. Word of God confirms that due to the arrival of the Quirk users on Remnant seventeen years ago, Salem accelerated her experiments on the Grimm resulting in the Hound showing up so soon. People who have seen Volume 8, know how eerily intelligent and deadly that Grimm is.
- Ilia has Eijiro join the White Fang.
- While awakening Katsuki's memories has removed the danger of him dying on Earth. It comes with the side effect of suffering severe headaches that make him more violent than he usually is. Ozpin explains juggling memories of past lives is not an easy or thrilling experience. Showing that the rest of the reincarnates are not going to have it easy.
- Chapter 10 ends with the Hound beating Deku into submission and knocking out the young hero-in-training with a dust explosion. The Hound captures Deku and runs away with Ruby and Blake hot on its tail.
