Even with everything bad that happens in this story, there are still other things that are so much worse.
Loud Visions
- Lincoln being able to see a future where his family locks him out of his own home causes him to fear his own family, specifically because he lives in a family that is capable of doing that to him.
- Leni nearly getting hit by a truck in Chapter 4.
- Lana nearly getting killed by a bull alligator in Chapter 11, and Lincoln impaling the gator with a pickaxe to stop it.
- Lincoln's visions in Chapter 19. Will his sisters beat him to a pulp, or will he do it to them?
- Lincoln actually getting hit by a car and nearly dying in Chapter 20. What's even worse is that it was his future self who did it.
- The nightmares in Chapters 25-29:
- Lori sees all the bad things that she did and was going to do to Lincoln. She sees Carol adopt Lincoln, openly intent on having sex with him when he gets older.
- Leni having to see herself kick Lincoln out of the house and watch him leave her.
- Luna, after being told off by her friends and called "filth" by Mick Swagger, falls into a dumpster, which is then dumped into a garbage truck; where the trash, with her inside it, gets crushed and compacted.
- Luan getting hung by her neck, tied to a wheel, attacked by raccoons, and getting her head caved in by a giant mallet.
- Lola seeing the visages of the monsters in the "Biggest Monster Pageant" that she won in, especially the one in her own reflection.
- Lana, after realizing that she was boarded in a room with a bull alligator ready to kill her, gets torn to shreds by multiple gators.
- Lisa getting dissected by a doctor to show that Lisa has no "emotional heart". She watches her black-veined heart beating as Lincoln is ready to cut her skull open and remove her brain.
- Lynn is subject to Yet Another Christmas Carol. She sees how she became a jerk to Lincoln in the past. She is shown images of children who were kicked out of their homes getting violently sick, attacked, raped, and/or murdered in the present. And finally, she is shown her grave in the future, before being shoved into it by Future Lincoln.
Loud Visions 2
- If Lincoln never got his ability to see visions of the future, all the bad things shown in the future visions and dreams would have happened.
- Lori would have gotten into a car accident that would have ended her golfing career.
- Lynn Jr. would have been raped and beaten by six grown men.
- Lana would have gotten a bad bacterial infection that later leads to gastric cancer.
- Lola would have gotten fat and diabetes.
- 500 people, including Rita, would have died when a bridge collapsed.
