They'll live their youth to the fullest

A Slice of Life with a supernatural theme manga which began in 2022. Tsutomu Chono is a 21-year old college student stuck in a dead end job and a dull college life, only to receive a mysterious manga that allows him to relive his highschool years in his dreams.

Determined to not make the same mistakes all over again, Chono decides he's going to fully enjoy his highschool life. Soon enough he realizes he's not the only one who obtained this mysterious manga or wishes they could make different choices.

Written and illustrated by Kitada Ryouma, author of Super HxEros. The manga ran for 30 chapters and was compiled in four volumes.

The series has tropes of:

  • 20 Minutes into the Past: Since the manga begins in 2022 and the main characters go back five years, they're in highschool during 2017.
  • A-Cup Angst: While Ruri certainly isn't flat, she gets annoyed when Saki points out her swimsuits don't fit her around the chest area.
  • Anime Hair: Saki has a couple of hair buns that look like bear ears, which are kept even when under her hoodie.
  • Beware the Nice Ones: Ageha might be a very sweet girl, but you don't want to anger her unless you want to see why she's a former judoka champion and Heir to the Dojo.
  • Butterfly Effect: Saki mentions the theory when the main characters test if they could win the lottery in the dream world based on what happened in the real world, and they discover their different decisions have completely changed the outcome of what would happen.
  • Can't Hold His Liquor: Only a few beers are enough to leave Saki completely plastered.
  • Chick Magnet: Chono happens to befriend and gain the affection of four different girls thanks to his kindness.
  • Cooldown Hug: Ageha comforts Saki with one of this when she gets emotional after realizing that for the first time she has true friends.
  • Cut Short: The manga was suddenly announced it would be ending at just 30 chapters compiled into four volumes.
  • Distinguishing Mark: The mole underneath her left eye is what allows Chono to recognize Tateha, since she looks very different from 5 years in the past.
  • Expository Hairstyle Change: By the final chapter, Ageha has dyed her hair blonde just like in her dreams, while Ruri has cut her hair to a bob and re-dyed it back to brown with some pink, all to signify their growth in the real world.
  • Eyes Always Shut: Ageha's mother is almost never seen with her eyes open.
  • Feel No Pain: Chono realizes soon enough that he feels little to no pain in the dream world.
  • For Want Of A Nail: The whole premise, with the characters changing their decisions to live their lifes to the fullest.
  • Friendless Background: Chono, Ageha and Saki didn't really have any friends while in highschool and only started becoming friends when they began to dream together.
  • Future Loser: The four main characters all feel this way, but in a twist they all feel they took the wrong decisions when they were in high school, leading to their current regretful situation and why they so eagerly want to relive their lives and do things to the fullest.
  • Gamer Chick: Saki spends most of her time playing video games, even after she befriends Chono and Ageha.
  • Gyaru Girl: Ruri Tateha is a pretty good example with her make up, hair style and way of dressing. In the real world she looks completely different other than still having pink hair.
  • Hair-Contrast Duo: Chono and Ageha have hair colors that alternate between the real and dream worlds; Chono has dyed blonde hair in the real world and his natural black hair in dreams, while Ageha is the opposite.
  • Hikikomori: Saki Omura in the present day, since she still lives with her parents, almost never leaves her room and only plays games all day.
  • Hotter and Sexier: The extra chapters have actual nudity, in contrast to the main story where there's only teasing and male gazes.
  • Male Gaze: True to the author's roots, there's quite a lot of focus on the girls bodies, either their butts, breasts or navels that show through their uniforms.
  • Mental Time Travel: Which the characters call "Time Sleeping". So far there haven't been any major consequences for their different decisions in their dreams, but it does help them improve their respective situations in the present.
  • Mum Looks Like a Sister: Ageha's mother looks young enough to be her sister, something that Chono lampshades.
  • Navel-Deep Neckline: In Chapter 24 Tateha wears a white swimsuit that plunges all the way past her navel.
  • Non Conformist Dyed Hair: Ageha on the first chapter dyes her black hair blonde at the dream world as a sign she wants to be true to herself without pretending to be something else.
  • The One Guy: So far Chono is the only male who has found the manga that allows them to relive their high school years.
  • Purely Aesthetic Glasses: Ageha wore fake glasses at the start of the manga to look more serious, but she stops using them both in the dream and in the real world once she meets Chono.
  • Reused Character Design: Ageha Asakura and Saki Omura have almost the same designs as the characters from Kokoro ni Yasashii Tankoubon: Soku Ochi 2-koma Gekijou, another manga by Kitada.
  • Riddle for the Ages: How did the magical manga came to be and who gave it to Chouno and the girls is left vague.
  • Significant Wardrobe Shift: By the final chapter, Saki has traded her hoodie for more form flattering clothes, showing she's more comfortable in social situations.
  • Situational Sociability: Due to her trypophobia, Saki is energetic and talkative when alone or with few people, but far more withdrawn when in a crowd.
  • Sleep Learning: Both Saki and Ageha test if this works and they realize it does help them do better; Saki improves her grades while Ageha succeeds in dieting.
  • Sweet Tooth: Ageha loves sweets and enjoys snacking while dreaming because she thinks she won't gain weight in a dream. She finds out, to her horror that's not the case.
  • World of Buxom: So far all the girls have some pretty buxom chests.
