"I cherish you."

  • The way Mao Mao and Badgerclops interact (and even the way they bicker) can at times seem very homoromantic.
    • Particularly in Episode 9 when they engage in a "planning hug" and whisper "I cherish you" to each other when they're done.
    • Not to mention how completely physically comfortable Badgerclops is with Mao Mao, even going so far as to pick something out of Mao Mao's teeth, and EAT IT. Mao Mao doesn't even seem disgusted by the act, but rather annoyed that BC isn't taking the adventure seriously.
    • Adding to it further, much of the plot in "Breakup", where the two try to one-up each other in hanging out with Adorabat, is presented in a manner very reminiscent of feuding parents competing for their child's adoration.
    • In "Meet Tanya Keys", Mao Mao possessively tries to grab Badgerclops from Tanya taking him for a bounty, even to the point of exclaiming, "Hand over my clops!"
    • In "Head Chef," after Mao Mao and Badgerclops make breakfast, they strike a pose where MM is leaning back in BC's arm.
Mao Mao: Don't dip me so low.
      Badgerclops: Whatever, you like it!
      • On the other end of the shipping totem pole, the phone call with King Snugglemagne ends with Mao Mao giving a curt, "I love you, too."
    • Mao Mao calls Badgerclops "the light of my life" in 'The Truth Stinks.'
    • Mao Mao tenderly wiping Badgerclops' tears away no less than three times in "Badgeafire Explosion".
Mao Mao: Shhh shhh shhh...don't say another word.
  • In "Mao Mao's Nakey", Mao Mao crashes through King Snugglemagne's roof and lands right next to him in bed. The shot makes it look like a very different scenario.
  • Even Orangusnake has some with...himself, when it's revealed they really are two separate people wrapped around each other. And not due to any kind of freak accident, they just want to. Their backstory is practically portrayed as love at first sight.
