     Jashin-chan and Medusa
  • Their relationship in itself certainly gives the impression that they were dating with Jashin-chan functioning as the one that would skip paying the bill, leaving Medusa as the fall guy. Jashin-chan openly admits that she would be unable to function properly without her.
  • Episode 2: Even though for the most part Jashin-chan would take advantage of her kindness, she buys Medusa a panda-human doll note . Upon seeing the item, Medusa hugs Jashin-chan tightly, making a clearly embarrassed Jashin-chan aggressively tell her to let her go.
  • Episode 3 for instance has Jashin-chan drinking a hundred glasses of strawberry juice after she had unwittingly made Medusa upset, making her swear that she was "done with her and the human world." Unsurprisingly, Medusa returns, assuring her that she would never leave her. This also causes the crowd assembled to cheer for them.
    • They also share a meal together, feeding each other each passing second.
  • Episode 4 sees Jashin-chan pranking Medusa by making her believe that she had died when really she had just shed her skin. Medusa naturally breaks down in grief calling out Jashin-chan 's name only to become angry at the trick. She then makes it seem as if she was going to leave again, making Jashin-chan immediately remorseful. Thankfully for her, it turns out that she was just kidding.
  • Episode 7: Jashin-chan becomes jealous when Minos mentions in passing that Medusa was out with another friend. When Medusa is called to Yurine's house, Jashin-chan angrily accuses her of being a cheater and several other bad names making her cry. Realizing her mistake, Jashin-chan makes it up to her by offering to take her out for essentially a date, and when she realizes that Medusa was conned by a demon selling contacts, she inadvertently summons him, and then dropkicks him across the park. She then offers to let Medusa ride on her back since her legs was still petrified note . Finally Medusa thanks her for the amazing day and date.
  • Episode 10: Medusa asks Jashin-chan to teach her how to make chocolate for Valentine's Day. While initially angered at the idea of there being some "secret admirer," she begrudgingly helps Medusa and is then given the box of chocolate herself.

     Jashin-chan and Yurine
  • Towards the end of the opening theme, Jashin-chan seems to actually enjoy being bludgeoned by Yurine to an extent.
    • The ending also has a moment where Yurine smiles at Jashin-chan but in a non-sadistic fashion. Jashin herself pretends to be angry and looks away from Yurine, but opens up her left eye.
  • Episode 7: After Jashin-chan made Medusa upset, Yurine seems to be completely saddened by Jashin-chan 's actions, and actually doesn't punish her for speaking out of turn. Later that night, she overhears Jashin-chan crying in her closet room, and appears to watch Jashin-chan 's backside as she slithers out of the room without breaking the glance.
  • Episode 11: Jashin-chan takes care of Yurine when she was sick. In addition, she sang a song about her relationship with Yurine throughout the series, and Yurine thanks her for taking care of her.

     Pekola and Poporon
  • A little bit in Pekola and Poporon's case. In episode 8, Pekola wanted to bury the hatchet with her so to work together to survive. She later misinterprets a situation and tries to save her despite Poporon trying to end her weeks ago.
  • When Pekola is hired to work as a bodyguard for Poporon, she tries to take down an assailant trying to attack Poporon out of blind rage. While she is rendered bedridden in the hospital, Poporon pays for her medical bill.
  • In episode 11, Poporon briefly blushes when asked if Pekola was her friend. In addition, she seems to actually be jealous of Pekola's ability of making friends with the others.

     Others
  • Medusa feeds Pekola during a hot pot party Jashin-chan had thrown in the first episode. In the unaired Beach Episode, Pekola rescues Medusa from a kraken's severed tentacle in a manner similar to a knight rescuing a princess.
  • Minos gives Yurine a mandrake doll.
