Repercussions
is an upcoming Game Mod for Portal 2 by [Lamarr11], a.k.a. Lemurr. It's been in development for several years and has insane production quality, leading to a lot of (currently dead) hype around it - currently, it's on hold.
Of what we know of the story, it follows an unidentified Test Subject in a small, human-vault like stasis pod - which comes crashing down soon after they wake. Miraculously, they survive...
...The only problem is, Wheatley is in control of the facility - and Old Aperture is taking a major toll due to it...
Repercussions contains examples of the following tropes:
- Continuity Nod: One of the places the player explores is the Borderworld Research facility tucked deep underground in Old Aperture.
- Darker and Edgier: Compared to other Portal games and mods. The protagonist explores hidden experiments in the Old Aperture facility as it crumbles and decays.
Kevin Baggett's soundtrack appropriately fits the mood. - Human Popsicle: The protagonist has been frozen since at least the 1950s.
- One-Word Title: Presumably as it's about the repercussions of Wheatley's take over of the facility in Portal 2.
- Scenery Porn/Gorn: This teaser.
- Simultaneous Arcs: The game proper presumably starts while Wheatley takes over the facility in Portal 2.
- Zeerust: The Aperture Quantum Tunneling Device Mark IV.
