Unicorn: Warriors Eternal has some heartwarming moments.

Season 1

The Awakening Part 1
  • Edred rushed to Melinda's side after getting hurt, making sure that his beloved was fine. He then angrily insulted Merlin for nearly getting her killed.
  • Emma's father could barely hold back his tears at the fact that his daughter is getting married, wishing her and her future husband the best of luck. Emma's mother even joined in on the hug before going inside the church.
  • Winston is shown to be an upstanding man who is willing to fight Copernicus (alongside the other wedding attendees) to defend Emma.

The Awakening Part 2

  • After journeying through the ocean to find an abandoned orphanage, Copernicus dried Melinda off and resumed walking. Melinda couldn't help but smile at the robot's gentle nature, slowly warming up to him.
  • Despite being abandoned by the system, Alfie found himself among a group of friends who actually likes him. When he was awakened as Seng, they immediately tried to save him.
    • In Seng's spiritual eyes, he saw the orphan boys as sad little kids and felt pity for them. He tells them that they had each other and that alone should make them happy. It didn't work, but it was nice to know that some part of Alfie that cared about his friends was still there.
  • After awakening, Edred was overjoyed to be reunited with his beloved and kissed Melinda. Although she didn't feel the same way due to Emma's memories, it was still nice to know that Edred still loves Melinda after so many years of reincarnation. While she initially rejected him, he was more confused by what was going on rather than angry, and Copernicus 'explained' that Emma/Melinda wasn't entirely herself.
    • Prior to that, when Dimitri is transforming into Edred, the latter's memories begin taking place. And while the first one is implied to be his home, the next and more emphasized shots are of him and Melinda embracing and kissing. Given how Melinda was a central memory for Edred it really hammers in how deep and lasting his love is for her and vice-versa
  • Despite witnessing Emma/Melinda's transformation, Winston continued to search for his beloved in order to find and protect her.

A Fateful Encounter

  • Emma/Melinda returns to her childhood home, reminiscing about the time she spent there: learning to play an instrument, having nightly visits with Winston, and preparing for her wedding.
  • Finding out that Winston is at the hospital and not dead, Emma wasted no time sneaking inside to find him. Even though she caused the destruction that left him injured, Winston doesn't blame her and still wants to help despite her fear.
  • When Edred and Melinda finally see one another, they call out each other's name while never taking their eyes off each other.
  • Played for Laughs, when Emma is embarrassed by the nudity of the stone army, Edred wastes no time 'censoring' their lack of clothes to make Melinda feel comfortable.
    • Alfie even shared the same concern and tried his best to prevent Melinda from seeing the stone army.

What Lies Beneath

  • Copernicus is concerned about Alfie fading out of existence, demonstrating that the robot care about the Unicorn beyond his duty to awaken and aid them in battle.
  • While he was in the way, Winston shows his willingness to swim or take a boat to follow Emma in his effort to help his fiancée, even insisting on assisting her in facing the ghost ship.
  • In the hope of awakening further memories, Edred reenacts the day he met and fell in love with Melinda. Based on how the story unfolds, it was quite romantic.

The Past Within

  • Before everything went wrong, Melinda was portrayed as a joyful and playful child who willingly helped a stranger (Emma), highlighting her inherent kindness. This was depicted before Merlin unjustly placed blame on her for what happened to Morgana.
  • Learning what happened, Emma feels more sympathetic for Melinda's past, despite the latter being enraged that she saw it.
  • After witnessing Copernicus being destroyed, Emma grabs the pieces, repeatedly saying 'no.' This demonstrates the strong bond that Melinda and Emma share with Copernicus after battling together for so many years.

The Mystery of Secrets

  • Melinda hugging Copernicus after seeing him rebuilt.

The Heart of Kings

  • Emma encouraging Melinda to talk with her father, Merlin when the latter blamed her for her mother’s corruption.
  • Emma defending Melinda when Merlin blamed her for turning her mother into her monster despite the latter having been nothing by cynical towards her from the beginning, it does show that Emma was still willing to help Melinda. She even called Merlin out for blaming Melinda for causing Morgana to turned Evil even though she was a child. This causes Merlin to realize how unfairly he treated her, and after giving her words of reassurance the two have managed to repair their relationship as father and daughter.

Darkness Before the Dawn

  • Melinda smiling sweetly at Emma's reflection for the first time. Clearly, the bond between the sorceress and her host body has become friendlier.
  • Winston isn't scared or upset that he's become a werewolf, he's thrilled to have the power to help Emma. This man really will do anything for the woman he loves.

The End of the Beginning

  • The Reawakened, despite not being chosen to become the new reincarnations of the Unicorn Warriors, still eagerly assist Emma in her attempt to return to the Cosmic Plane and manage to show just how skilled and resourceful they are. They may not have been chosen, but have still proven themselves to be quite the heroes in their own right.
  • After their initial hostility towards each other at the beginning of the series, it is incredibly heartwarming to see Emma and Melinda lovingly embrace once they are reunited by Copernicus. Melinda's gentle voice as she calls out to Emma even sounds like that of a parent or sibling reuniting with a lost family member.
