- The Khan family tries to hear out Kamala with Yusuf gently asking if Carol is pressuring Kamala into misbehaving and insisting she doesn’t have to do what she says. When Aamir begins teasing Kamala, Yusuf quickly scolds him for doing so. Then when it becomes apparent it’s not really Kamala’s fault, the Khan family actually takes up arms against the home invaders, helping each other out and watching each other's backs. Props to Yusuf and Muneeba for being an impromptu Battle Couple despite being a middle-aged domestic couple. And Aamir also tries to help his little sister out.
- Fury is still affectionate towards Goose despite her being the one responsible for the loss of his eye.Fury: Who’s a good kitty, Goose?
- At some point after The Stinger of Captain Marvel, where Goose coughed up the Tesseract, she apparently went to live with the Rambeaus. And after Maria passed away from cancer (at which point Monica was still gone after the Snap), Carol took Goose in, where they travel the universe together in the present.
- On that note, the confirmation that Carol did come and visit Monica after the Snap.
- Carol has news about Monica's accomplishments pinned in her ship.
- Kamala has gotten good enough in close combat to disarm a Kree's space pistol and pass it to Fury. It's probably the first time you see Fury smile not involving his wife or Goose.
- The flerken kitties rescuing all the scientists by eating them is a very, very strange scene, but it is also kinda sweet in a messed up way.
- All the many, many moments of Carol and Monica bonding with Kamala, as well as reconnecting with each other.
- One of the moments in particular involves the three using the Kree devices to scan through their memories to find out Dar-Benn's next move. In doing this Carol and Kamala learn about Maria passing and how Monica returned thanks to the Blip only to find herself alone and her mom gone. With this Kamala instantly hugs Monica and gestures Carol to join in as well. Monica clearly appreciates the gesture.
- Monica and Carol make good on their promise to Kamala’s parents to keep her safe and throughout the film are making sure she's either close by them or leaving her where she will relatively be safe.
- Carol is a bit short and snappy with Kamala the first few times they meet, understandable considering they've just been thrust into cosmic life-or-death situations, but still obviously heartbreaking for Kamala to hear her idol be dismissive of her. As soon as they have a chance to catch their breath, Carol apologizes for a bad first impression, and introduces herself to Kamala properly.
- Kamala, for her part, apologizes for putting such huge expectations on Carol, and agrees to accept her idol as she is, not as Kamala wants her to be.
- Even after Dar-Benn betrays Carol after the latter's offer to save Hala, Carol still keeps the promise nonetheless, reigniting Hala's sun and saving the planet and Kree people. This, as well as the earlier flashback to her destroying the Supreme Intelligence out of genuinely good intentions to free the Kree from being used by a tyrannical A.I., also proves that Carol has compassion for the Kree as a whole, despite what some of them did to her, instead of hatred.
- Carol and Kamala hugging each other after Monica gets stranded in another universe. Also a Tear Jerker.
- In some of the film's closing moments, Kamala offhandedly mentions that Aamir and Tyesha have had a child, making her an aunt!
- In The Stinger, while she’s still devastated at realizing she hasn’t been reunited with her mother, Monica is in good hands, having been found and rescued by the X-Men of all people. Beast arguably does a better job comforting the disoriented Monica than Binary, assuring her he’ll give her some space and that it’s okay to be confused. Charles is also mentioned to have ordered them to keep close tabs on Monica.
