As a Moments subpage, all spoilers are unmarked as per policy. You Have Been Warned.

Episode One: "Chafa"

  • Maya's tracksuit mafia cohorts work well with her and try their best to communicate with her instead of motioning for her to stay back because of her disability.
  • Once again, Maya's dynamic with her father. While a criminal, there's no doubt William loves his daughter and wants to keep her safe following her mother's death. This makes it all the more sad when Clint takes him out during his stint as Ronin.
    • When Maya blames herself for the car accident that (unknown to her at the time) took her mother's life, William tells Maya it's not her fault.
  • Biscuits's joy at seeing Maya again after years of her being away.

Episode Four: "Taloa"

  • Kingpin did go overboard with the ice cream vendor, but he did it because the vendor mocked Maya's deafness. Maya sees this, but Fisk calmly takes her hand and they quietly walk away together.
  • After four episodes of her looking either sullen or angry, we see Maya smiling. It's astoundingly adorable.

Episode Five: "Maya"

  • Maya coming face to face with her mother who helps her daughter finally let go of her pain and anger. As Chula said all those before her echo through her and are always with her when she needs them. It is this that allows Maya to heal and unlock her powers
  • Maya traps Fisk in a memory about his abusive childhood in an attempt to help him let go of his pain from his childhood. Even though they are now enemies, she still has some affection for her Honorary Uncle and tries to get him to let go of his hate and anger.
    • And note that Maya is crying when she sees Fisk fighting her attempts to help him. Through this experience a part of her seems to understand and empathize, realizing that as awful as Fisk is along with the things he has done in a way he is just like how she was: trapped in his pain and unable to let it go.
  • After years of fighting and being away from her old hometown, the series ends with Maya joining her estranged family for a backyard barbecue.
  • Much like in Kahhori's episode of What If?, Echo ends with a message from Marvel thanking the Choctaw tribe for their cooperation.
