A little kindness goes a long way, and nowhere is that more clear than in the actions of the stalwart main character who truly is as much a noble white knight in heart as he is in appearance.

    Episode 1
  • There is something absolutely charming about the way Arc gushes over his situation. For a massive gamer, to find himself in a fantasy setting full of monsters to slay, people to save, and with the body of his overpowered gaming avatar along with his entire skillset including the ones that were only temporary, this is obviously a dream come true for him.
  • Upon receiving a trial from the mercenary guild in order to qualify for his license, Arc departs just as another adventurer questions the guild leader why someone who looks more like a holy knight in service to a lord or monarch would be looking for mercenary work. While the leader guesses incorrectly that Arc might be financially strapped and looking for extra pay to aid a sick relative, it doesn't stop the adventurer from wishing Arc luck on his quest.
    • Once Arc completes his trial and returns within the day, other adventurers congratulate him and offer him to join them for drinks. Of course, given Arc's situation, he's forced to decline, but he's clearly moved by the gesture.
  • During his trial, Arc comes across a couple of women who were raided by bandits out on the road. Just as the villains were about to rape them, Arc teleports into the middle of it and slays the bandits with little to no effort. After calming and clothing themselves, the two request Arc to escort them back to town, which he happily agrees to. During the journey back, the young noblewoman can't help but stare in admiration at Arc, who in turn is clearly very embarrassed by it. It's positively precious to see.

    Episode 2
  • When escorting Marcia, Arc is moved by how despite being a little girl and having lost her father a year ago, she wants to help her mom however she can. He even muses that she's almost too pure for this world, particularly compared to him, who's only ever played video games at her age (and beyond).
  • After the quest, Marcia gets hugged by her mother, who's just glad that she's alright. Arc apologizes for taking her into the woods without consulting her, and asks that she not scold Marcia too much, because "I've never met a child who cared so much for her mother". In the end, he also receives a crown wreath from Marcia's sister, which he gratefully accepts.
    • Moreover, after bringing up the boar as an extra, he mentions that while he'll take the expected rewards, he wants the hide tanned as a gift for Marcia and the animal's meat to be shared among the villagers.

    Episode 3
  • After helping Ariane rescue the elf children, they're initially frightened of Arc, being a big guy in armor and all. However, after using curse dispelling and healing magic on them, plus some gentle words and a few headpats here and there, they quickly warm up to him and Arc is seen playing with them, showing how strong he is while they hang onto his arms. Even before they go back with the others, he promises them that if any more villains show up, he'll make a mad dash to come rescue them.

    Episode 5
  • For all his caution about his appearance and the short time he's known her, Arc trusting Ariane enough to show her his skeletal form when she asks. In turn, Ariane's immediate reaction isn't fear or disgust, but concern for him.
  • During Ariane and Arc’s journey to the village, we get the hilarious sight of Ariane losing her composure and giving into the desire to cuddle with Ponta. For the time we’ve seen her, Ariane has been a mostly serious figure, dedicated to saving her kin and punishing those who enslave them. Seeing her let her guard down and be a normal girl with a cute animal is very sweet to see.

    Episode 6
  • When Arc first arrives in the village, he’s met with Ariane’s parents. Rather than treat him with suspicion, they welcome him into their home and thank him for helping their daughter on her quest.
  • During Arc’s tour of the elf village, he’s met by suspicious looks and whispers from the elves living there. Before things can get depressing, two of the elf girls Arc rescued in Episode 3 eagerly run up to greet him. They show off that they’re okay thanks to his help and thank him for saving them once more. It’s heartwarming to see Arc’s goodwill come back like this, and it’s heartwarming to see the girls happily greet their savior, despite the suspicion of the other elves.

    Episode 7
  • During episode 7, Arc not only resurrects Princess Yuriarna. He also revives her handmaid and as many of her bodyguards as he can. Though he doesn't do so for any kind of monetary reward, vanishing after he has revived as many of Yuriarna's party as he can.
    • Yuriarna, upon awakening from her revival mistaking Arc for some kind of angel is rather heartwarming.
Yuriarna: Is that... a guardian angel?

    Episode 10
  • After defeating the sand worm, Ariane confides to Carcy that she still can't foresee a time where Humans and Elves can coexist in peace. Carcy then reveals a Human named Petros du Lamburt and an elven woman named Toreasa are getting married. Ariane is shocked at the idea of such a marriage. However, she seems more open to the possibility of humans and elves coexisting with each other after all.
