• The story of Jiang Fan and his Rank 4 River Swallowing Toad, who created a hamlet of equality. It ultimately has a Downer Ending because Gu Masters could not stand a mortal having a Rank 4 Gu but the story does show it’s possible for the denizens of this world to befriend Gu, even Gu that are much higher Rank than them.
• Paradise Earth Immortal Venerable was an Actual Pacifist in a world where combat is commonplace. The man refused to ever use an offensive move and preferred instead to convince his opponents to make a Heel–Face Turn. He even created many paradises throughout the world where the many races of man live in equality, showing the man wasn’t a racist like most humans. The Gu world has shown many times its ability to turn saints into much more cynical or outright murderous individuals and yet, Paradise Earth faced the horrors of the world during its most bloodthirsty era and refused to ever let himself be corrupted by it. He even succeeded and became a Venerable whose reputation was so beloved, even many years after his death Paradise Earth is seen as the most liked of all the Venerables.
