Heartwarming / Pokémon: Twilight Wings

• John's interaction with Corviknight in "Letter." Its owner specifically states its dislike of anyone it doesn't know. That same Corviknight's knee-jerk reaction is to rush over and catch John — someone it also barely knows — on its wing when he briefly faints from exhaustion, and it is already quite fond of the boy as he reassures it that he's okay.
• In "Training" we see Bea training with her Pokémon, the Machop line, after she loses against Leon and how much they care about each other. After she hurts her arm in a sparring match with Machamp, the big guy is clearly concerned for her and ashamed of what it did even if it was an accident. Another example is little Machop who tried to give Bea an energy bar but she's too focused on getting stronger to notice and only succeeded after her apology with a cute grin showing there's no hard feelings.
• In "Buddy", Hop and Wooloo reuniting and later falling asleep together in the cab.
• In "Early Evening Waves", as a child, Nessa comforted and encouraged a beaten up Feebas. Years later, the Feebas has now evolved into a Milotic and returned to give Nessa encouragement. They've reunited all grown up.
• In "Assistant", it's subtle but Oleana is smiling when Rose sincerely thanks her for her hard work. Previously, everyone else had been impatient/frustrated with her whenever she was passionate about her work. Rose was the one person who was genuinely interested in her research and was appreciative of who she is.
• "Moonlight" has John and Tommy reconcile and promise that they both become great Trainers. The end of the episode shows Chairman Rose — who has John's letter — handing it to Leon, and Leon has a fond smile on his face.
  • The reason Allister's Ghost Pokémon scared Tommy? They know how shy their trainer is, even barricading Tommy from him. They're also saddened after the boy explains why he's looking for Alister.
• At the end of "Sky", Leon makes a promise to John that they will have a battle one of these days before he starts his match with Raihan.
  • It is just so comforting to see how not only John got to leave the hospital, but he also finally gets to meet Leon (who he idolizes so much).
• After the final episode aired, Shingo Yamashita posted an image on his Twitter acting as an epilogue showing an older John and Tommy starting their adventure. What's notable is their Starter Pokémon - John has a Rookidee whilst Tommy has a Dreepy, reflecting John's experience of riding the Corviknight with Leon and Tommy's newfound friendship with Allister.
