As a Moments subpage, all spoilers are unmarked. You Have Been Warned.

  • The game begins with the MSPA Reader trying to go back to Alternia to be with all the friends they made there.
  • In John's route, Dave shows some understandable concern over John inviting a strange person who claims to be a mailman and who's age he doesn't know into his room, and shows especially deep concern over John's signature gullibility in just trusting everything the MSPA Reader told him, but when John insists that nothing bad is happening, that they are actually a nice person, and that they're having a good time, Dave relents and gives his approval, telling John to enjoy himself since it's his birthday.
    • Dave also, in a rare dropping of his Early-Homestuck-Self's "ironic" stoicism, openly admits that he lied about thinking Sburb is dumb and that he wasn't going to play. That he was just saying that to sound "cool and aloof", and that he was actually excited to play it together with John and their friends, thinking it would be a great thing for the four of them to do.
  • Volume 2, Rose is quite welcoming to the MSPA Reader despite not believing that they are who they claim to be, even if it's just so she can get to learn more about who they really are.
    • Even before she decides to welcome them, she's not exactly keen on preserving the MSPA Reader's lie of being a mailman to John.
Rose: You want me to keep a secret from one of my best friends, to protect the feelings of a random buffoon who I've never met, and arbitrarily showed up to my house in the remote wilderness like a creep.
  • In one path, Rose lets the Reader read her wizard fiction. Too bad their questions about it and why she wrote it lead to her sending them away.
    • The good ending has Rose and the Reader go into a deep and emotional discussion about her Mom's very apparent drinking problem, with Rose outright calling her an alcoholic in their discussion. The Reader suggests using their powers to teleport her alcohol collection away and force her to face her drinking problem. Rose agrees with this idea, and says how she'll tell her where they put the collection eventually, while she agrees it might exacerbate some issues with her Mom, she thinks this will give them an excuse to actually talk about their problems, and have a conversation with each other.
  • At the beginning of Volume 3, the Reader passes out from overheating. Dave expresses concern and helps them, and claims it was mainly because they're friends with John.
  • The MSPA Reader becomes concerned about Dave's life and how his Bro is treating him. In one of the bad endings, they decide to teleport him away to somewhere safer, though they're quickly stopped.
  • Dave, with his signature casualness, asks the Reader if their teleporting power would work on him, and if it could take them anywhere. Seeing this as their chance to truly win Dave's friendship, they naturally say "Yes". They tell Dave to envision where he wants to go, and he does so, and where do the powers take them? An Olive Garden. They're confused at this, but Dave is near ecstatic, breaking his impenetrable stoicism with clear joy on his face, and not a shred of irony in his words when he expresses his joy. When they ask him why he didn't ask to be taken to his friends, Dave simply smiles and says "I'm a mystery", before expressing his love for breadsticks and "going to town" on the ones they currently have, ending on a shot of Dave eating a ton of breadsticks with Tears of Joy running down his face.
  • Volume 4 has easily one of the biggest heartwarming moments in Pesterquest so far. After spending the majority of her Volume in an existential crisis because of her no longer dreaming on Prospit and seeing the future, and believing her chance to become the hero she saw herself as in her future in Prospit's Clouds just passed her by with Sburb no longer working, decides that spending her life all alone on her island is part of her "heroic destiny", because she believes heroism isn't all rainbows and sunshines, so her "heroic destiny" wouldn't be so heroic if it just came to her so easy. So, with her cheery smile, she openly accepts her miserable and lonely fate because she believes it'll eventually lead to her becoming a hero. If the Reader chooses not to accept it, they'll decide to have none of that shit, and tell her to her face that it's bullshit. They then decide that while they can't take Jade to her friends (because Bec will teleport her back home), they can bring her friends to her and, one by one, round up John, Rose, and Dave, and bring them to her home for a slumber party. What happens next is an incredibly heartmeltingly precious series of events, and the only time the Beta Kids are ever seen hanging out together in the same place in a normal setting. Jade outright cries in pure happiness at finally seeing her friends in person, and is so overjoyed she gives each of them a kiss on the cheek. Really, almost every scene in this Event is a Heartwarming Moment by themselves.
  • In Volume 5, Karkat's route has him discover that the MSPA Reader's blood is the same colour as his. He seems to like having someone he can relate to, and even helps them hide when a drone shows up in the neighbourhood. Too bad it backfires if the Reader follows his instructions...
    • Going on from that, if the Reader does stay with him as instructed, his lusus makes a Heroic Sacrifice to save him when the drone finds them. Unfortunately, it involves the hive being burned down, and the drone sees Karkat's sign, but it gave him enough time to get away.
    • When Karkat talks to Sollux from outside his home, the latter offers to help him, and it's revealed that he knows about Karkat's blood colour. Karkat refuses because he doesn't want him to be culled as well. Also doubles as a Tearjerker.
  • If the Reader decides to teleport away with Karkat instead of staying, they'll end up at Dave's home, where he is hanging out with John. It seems that Bec has allowed the kids to visit each other with his powers. The route ends with them all playing a game, and the Reader is happy to spend time with them.
  • During Gamzee's route, if the MSPA Reader chooses to eat the pie he offers them, they'll eventually realise that he reminds them of Karako, and almost remembers him and the other friends they've made.
  • Vriska's route involves her getting the MSPA Reader to play FLARP with her, and she seems excited about having someone to play with (even getting upset if they choose to leave). When her attempt to control the Reader results in them falling asleep and having to win the game by herself, she takes them to her hive instead of feeding them to her lusus along with the Trolls she captured.
    • The Reader asks Vriska why she didn't feed them to her lusus like she did with the trolls, and Vriska explains that "some people are off-limits", and makes it clear that this includes all of her friends, even the ones she doesn't particularly like or who don't like her (which, at this point in time, is almost all of them). She even explicitly states that she wouldn't let Spidermom eat Karkat, whom Homestuck showed that she has a very vitriolic relationship with.
    • When Vriska puts the Reader to sleep, they see Boldir as a figment of their imagination, and temporarily get their memory back, remembering perfectly not only her, but all of their other friends as well; they ask how Tagora and Galekh are doing, whether Boldir saw Ardata again, and whether their friends miss them. Boldir then gives the Reader a You Are Better Than You Think You Are speech about how powerful they are now and thus don't have to be Doc Scratch's puppet anymore; though the Reader has mostly forgotten everything again when they wake back up, enough of the spirit of what she said sticks with them for them to decide to Screw Destiny when it comes to the narrative, resulting in...
    • ...Vriska's good ending, where the MSPA Reader decides to free Vriska from her lusus by zapping the latter into the volcano on Jade's island.
  • In Equius' route, he asks the MSPA Reader to prove that they know the other Trolls they mentioned. They use his account to message Karkat, and their dialogue is shown to be friendly. They even tell him they hope his day is going well, and that they miss him. Once Karkat knows what's going on, he tells Equius (in his own way) that the Reader is worth befriending.
  • If the Reader decides to befriend Equius by telling him about their powers and demonstrating them, he'll ask them to take him to Nepeta because she lives too far away from him to meet her in person. Sadly, it doesn't work, and while he initially gets annoyed at this and beats up one of his robots, he quickly calms down after and doesn't blame the Reader for it.
  • In Terezi's good ending, she and Vriska reflect on everything they've done as the Scourge Sisters, now coming to term with how screwed up it was. Then she offers to rebuild their alliance the right way, and Vriska accepts in a heartbeat.
  • In Aradia's route, MSPA Reader fully regains their memories of their old friends from Friendsim (for good this time, rather than temporarily) and can choose to check on them (though this leads to the second bad ending). If they do, the first thing they think to do is to try to prevent Daraya's implied suicide from her second bad ending.
  • In Nepeta's first bad ending, if the MSPA Reader decides not to play along with her role-playing, her lusus gets angry about it. While it doesn't end well for the Reader, it shows how close she and Nepeta are.
  • Nepeta has two good endings. The first one involves the Reader bringing her to Equius, where they are both happy to see each other in person. The second one, if the right choices are made, ends with Dave and Jade spending time with her, with Bec not being so strict about Jade leaving the island anymore.
  • In Sollux's route, he visits Kanaya, and the two of them go through old photos. They didn't get much screentime together in the original Homestuck, so seeing their close relationship and how long they've been friends is pretty sweet.
    • Additionally, it's revealed that, in this timeline where Sollux and Feferi didn't have a Rescue Romance via playing Sgrub, they were instead introduced to each other by Kanaya, and have been hitting it off very well here, too, showing that they don't need rescuing involved to bring them together and are just a compatible pair regardless.
  • In a way, Eridan's good ending is this. After being subjected to a humiliation conga of being dumped thrice in one day, he confesses that he's a bit lost in life and has been very unhappy for a while. When he turns to the Reader for advice (note that up until this point, he nearly completely ignored the Reader's opinions), they calmly and gently point out his flaws and say how he can improve. He accepts this, but admits it's a lot to change about himself; the Reader reassures him that change takes time, Eridan thanks them, and the two watch a movie together.
    • Soon before this, when the Reader finds Sollux near the rubble of the ship after the fight and they talk, Sollux asks the Reader why they want to help Eridan, since he's got a lot of problems that aren't either of their responsibilities to fix. Despite the Reader having been disgusted or exasperated by Eridan many times throughout the route (and, in the first bad ending, even noted that they were getting some "soft Zebruh vibes" from him), the Reader admits that they want to help all of these kids have better lives, even someone like Eridan, and readily admits when Sollux questions it that they probably have a hero complex.
    • Overall, seeing Eridan's self-aware self-deprecation in this game reinforces one of the more positive alternate interpretations of his character from Homestuck: that, despite his many unpleasant qualities, he originally wasn't that horrible of a guy, and did have the potential to be better than he was. The events of Homestuck eventually brought out the worst in him and drove him to do terrible things, but in this timeline where those events did not occur, he'll have the chance to work through his problems over time and better himself.
  • Candy Dave’s first reaction to seeing a younger Dirk is to give him a hug.
  • In a way, Dirk deciding to stay with MSPA Reader instead of following Ultimate Dirk in his egomaniacal crusade against the narrative. Much has been theorized about the reasoning and nature of Ultimate Dirk's Face–Heel Turn, and how much actually stems from Dirk's own nature versus the influence of Lord English through Doc Scratch technically being a part of him; but it's still reassuring to see that, when confronted with this version of himself, a younger Dirk prior to the events of the story and everything that happens therein is reasonably freaked out and ultimately decides to reject him. Even if he doesn't, it's implied that he knows following him is the wrong choice to make and does so more out of a sense of resigned obligation.
    • Ultimate Dirk is quick to point out that regardless of what happens, this version of Dirk will eventually fold into his consciousness along with all his other alternate selves. Once the Golden Ending rolls around, however, MSPA Reader locks the present timeline outside of continuity, ensuring everyone in it won't be affected by canonical events in the future, thus preventing this outcome for this iteration of Dirk at least.
  • MSPA Reader choosing to become the First Guardian so they can preserve the version of the multiverse where their actions took place as a Locked Timeline.
