Izuku Midoriya: Spider-Man Plus Ultra!

• Izuku's dad, Hisashi Midoriya, has been working on "Quirk Spiders" with the main goal of granting his son a Quirk. Additionally, he believes that they may be able to eliminate Quirkless-ness entirely with them.
• Izuku's complete joy at suddenly having a Quirk after being bitten by one of the Quirk Spiders. His depression over being Quirkless and fear he can never become a hero like he always dreamed of completely vanish thanks to that "blessed spider". It is just too bad that like any true Spider-Man origin story, the happiness doesn't last long before tragedy strikes.
• Iron Man trying to comfort Izuku after the death of his father, assuring him that it wasn't his fault and that he helped save hundreds of lives.
• Bakugou might have bullied Izuku for years due to him being Quirkless, but he immediately stands up for him when his two stooges mock him over his dead dad and try to imply he committed suicide because of Izuku. He and Izuku start talking to each other afterwards, with Izuku telling him about his new Quirk and how he got it, quickly becoming friends again.
• Izuku manages to rescue Eri much sooner than in canon after running into her on the streets, ensuring she won't suffer under Overhaul anymore.
• Bakugou shows a bit more of his softer side, trying not to swear in front of Eri due to her being a little girl.
• In a small moment, All Might says he would argue that Steve Roger’s, AKA Captain America, is an even greater hero than himself. Although we don't know what sort of relationship the two have in this canon yet, it is still high praise from Japan's Number 1 Pro Hero.
• Izuku and Bakugou realize after saving Eri that they need to give their statements to the police, they are probably going to get another scolding for "illegal Quirk usage" and "vigilante works" again. When Izuku says he will probably get more of the blame for activity fighting Shocker, Bakugou says he still used his explosions to try to intimidate Shocker, which still counts, saying if one of them goes down then they go down together, sharing a fist bump. The next chapter though revealed that Kenji Tsuragamae feels they were partly justified in what they did and feels they did pretty much everything right, and so only gives them a half-hearted lecture.
• Izuku's mom decides to adopt Eri, both to make sure she gets a loving home instead of ending up in the foster system, and because she sees how much Eri has become attached to Izuku due to him being the first to show her true kindness and not wanting to separate them.
• The first night staying in the UA dorms, as part of Witness Protection for Izuku, Bakugou, and their families, Eri falls asleep peacefully curled up against Izuku.
