  • Penny’s decision to write “The Robinsons Were Here” in the cave during the eponymous episode. After the kids press their handprints onto the wall to mark they were there, they rest for the night in the cave. Judy wakes up to see the Robot pressing his own hand into the ochre and putting his handprint onto the wall.
  • In "Pressurized", Maureen and John are trapped and forced to reconcile their marriage before he sacrifices himself to let her escape, leading to an Aw, Look! They Really Do Love Each Other moment capped with a Big Damn Kiss.
  • In "Pressurized", Penny tries to help Will cope with the loss of the Robot, even to the point of dropping her plan to sneak out to visit Vijay. Instead, she gives him a joyride on the Jupiter's assembly armature. The scene emphasizes that "the Robinsons stick together".
    • In the same episode, John and Maureen resolve several of the issues that have been driving them apart.

    Robot: Friends, Will Robinson.
    Will: Yeah. Yeah, friends.
  • In "Danger, Will Robinson", Will realizes that he's The Only One who can climb outside the ship and close the ramp so that the family doesn't suffocate. Maureen, still trying to protect him and knowing that he's frozen up before, insists that he can't do it.
  • In a flashback, young Judy gives a presentation on her hero: her biological father, who died before she was born. After she talks about him, she pulls up another presentation: John, her adopted father.
    • More heartwarming: John is mouthing her presentation, showing that he helped her write and/or memorize it.
  • After a good deal of angst from Penny about not having a special skill like the rest of her family, she discovers just how powerful her sense of empathy can be when she's actually able to provoke Smith into a Heel–Face Turn just by talking her into it.
