Heartwarming / Isn't It Romantic

• Natalie and Josh. Best friends in every sense of the term.
• In the rom-com world, the only person who remains the same is Josh, indicating how Natalie feels about him. Even when he can’t figure out why Natalie is freaking out, he calms her down and looks after her.
• Natalie growing in self-confidence throughout the film. This growth is so organic, and Rebel acts the hell out of it.
• “Josh doesn’t complete me. I complete myself!”
• The Reveal at the end — that supermodel on the billboard, outside Natalie's window, that Josh was gazing at? Natalie calls him out on this after she FINALLY realises how she feels about him. Josh simply asks her to sit at his desk, and he in turn sits at her desk. It turns out, you can't actually see the full billboard from Josh's desk. He was looking at Natalie's reflection in the window the entire time. Natalie is moved to tears by this.
  Josh: I was looking at you. I'm always looking at you.
  Natalie: [choking up] Josh... you're such an idiot.
  [cue The Big Damn Kiss]
