- One of the first things Sunset wants to do with Celestia during her visit to the human world, hear stories about her father.
- What we see of Sunset and Sci-Twi's marriage is quite happy and the two are rarely apart, until Sunset decides to stay in Equestria for one cycle of the portal, making Sci-twi's death and Sunset's depression afterwards all the sadder.
- The birth of Spike and Smolder's son, Grunt, and followed by the fawning of the new born by their extended family.
- Sunset wakes up to the sight of Princess Twilight cuddling her in her sleep. Sunset pulls a Substitution Jutsu and swaps herself with a body pillow, covered in her scent. Twilight just cuddles into the body pillow. Before Sunset leaves to run the court for the day she whispers something in the sleeping princess's ear that makes her smile.

- Celestia instructing Sunset how to raise and set the Sun and Moon, comparing the acts to putting a child to bed and waking them up.
- Due to the events of the Fall Formal, Sunset understandably refuses to wear a crown, so Tempest Fury loans her a set of armour that once belonged to her great grandmother, Tempest Shadow.
- Celestia crying tears of joy seeing Sunset in regalia, before entering the thrown room.
- Isabell telling Sunset while she never liked her or saw her as a friend, she now has her respect thanks from how well she handled the court while Twilight was asleep.
- Celestia defending Sunset's status as her daughter when both Flurry Heart and the nobles call it into question.

- Death without any prompting or asking, shows Luna what her father looked like and revealed that he tracked Aine down and passed himself off as a simple friendly merchant she knew growing up so he could in someway be apart of her life.
- The departed members of the Mane Six and Starlight appear on the other side of the River of Forgetfulness waving and shouting encouragements at Twilight.
- Celestia also appears having been reunited Mirror Sombra now restored to his former self. Sunset finally meets her father who tells her not to be upset about their battle and that he has nothing but pride in her. Becomes a tearjerker however as Balius erases Sunset's memories and the backup at the end of the story was created before this meeting.
