Everything’s gonna be alright, Om-Om...

While the main story of the game is bleak enough to match the game's contemporary trend of dark and disturbing magical girl stories, there's still plenty of room for bright and heartwarming moments.

SFW VERSION ONLY! UNMARKED SPOILERS AHOY!!!

    open/close all folders
    Main Story
  • In Chapter 4 Episode 4, when Cocoa takes care of her twin brothers Kazuya and Tatsuya.
  • The header image's Cooldown Hug Iroha delivers to Omnis when he falls into despair after the White Omnis's Breaking Speech about what his "Groundhog Day" Loop has actually been doing to the girls he's been trying to protect. The entire scene is executed well enough to make even the player themselves feel emotional - and considering Omnis/Tobio are effectively the Audience Surrogate, it's a mark of quality.
  • Some of the magical girl introductions, often crossing with moments of awesome:
    • Seira's coming to Cocoa's aid, refusing to stay idly by and determined to personally prevent any more loss in her life by protecting her friends instead of trying to wall herself off.
    • Akisa trying to protect the other Takeraho council members from having to become magical girls and being exposed to the dangers of this life, her emotionless facade completely fallen away to show her true feelings... and, in turn, the Takeraho girls all coming to Akisa's rescue when it proves impossible, publicly and loudly proclaiming their friendship and care for her and stating their protection over her.
    • Marianne protecting the entire magical girl team from the most powerful barrage of demon attacks yet and singlehandedly turning the tide of the White Omnis war - she, not entirely unlike Seira, also stepped up to fight for her friends instead of cowering and shrinking away, and not unlike the Takeraho team, to return the favour of Lilly's protection of her.

    Romance Arcs
  • Tobio's coming to Cocoa's rescue when she is lost in a panic as her brothers fall ill just like their mother once did. His resolve to stay by Cocoa's side in this and finally unburden her from all the excessive responsibility she's taken upon herself, and subsequent exposure of the problems at hand to her somewhat oblivious if well-meaning father - and particularly Tobio's staunch insistence on him ceasing to be mildly neglectful of Cocoa and demands for more care about her, her desires and her future - feel cathartic after seeing just how overloaded Cocoa's life is in all the main and side/dress episodes.
    • To a lesser extent, Tobio simply helping Cocoa out with her brothers before this point, sharing in the same kind of moment as the related main story example above.
  • Lilly's romance arc rests heavily on another case of Tobio stepping in to resolve a family issue brought on by poor communication and neglect. His Armor-Piercing Response to her attempts to hide from her mother and insisting that they get to the bottom of why she ran away from home, and her trusting in his wholesomeness and earnest advice enough to follow through with it and successfully patch up her relationship with her mother at least to some extent, are one of the sweetest sub-stories in the game.
  • Iroha's "romance" scenes for the various dresses is nothing short of pure romantic fluff between her and Tobio as he remembers the intimate moments he spent with her. In Magical warrior where she was defeated by a demon, her friends pull a Big Damn Heroes moment and remind her that they are a team and need to help each other. And in the Ultimate Magical Iroha, she joins Tobio in her own heart and discovers the ultimate possibility within herself thanks to him.

    Limited-Time Events
  • In the end of "The Cursed Videotape Hijinks" event, Marianne's muggle Alternate Self who is in the main universe finally gets reunited with Lilly's alternate self although she's already zombified by Earworm parasites permanently. Because the heroines appears to have removed the Earworms which grows from zombified alternate Lilly's head, she's able to retain her original personality although she still speaks in Dramatic Ellipsis.

    Other
  • The character birthdays, celebrated with a few days' run-up of the other girls discussing possible present ideas and celebrations with funny or further heartwarming results, and a brightly decorated club room on the day itself and party hats for everyone. The girl whose birthday it is also wears a birthday cake-shaped silly hat if placed in the room, which further ups the cuteness, fun and/or heartwarming factors depending on how she reacts to it. For instance, Hanabi is outwardly adorably unamused but confesses she's happy and touched that the other girls threw the party for her, while Cocoa parties away with a pair of maracas and a blissful expression.
