Just because it's Hell doesn't mean people can't tug at the heartstrings.
- Cazador and Zagreus's talk together. This is when the two officially form a "father and son" type relationship, with Cazador learning how hard Zagreus has his life down in Hell. Upon hearing about Zagreus's troubles, Cazador decides to take him under his wing, showing to Zagreus that their are some good people in Hell finally.
- Volk finally overcoming his suicidal tendencies thanks to Angel Dust's help.
- Of note, this arc was meant to finish Volk's story off, due to the creator having been unable to write anything noteworthy for him, Angel and Cazador saved a life in more senses than one.
- The whole plot between Maggie and Velesius. They originally hated each other, given one was royalty and the other was a lower-class Mafia Princess, with Maggie nearly running him over several times. It wasn't until Vel saved her life that Maggie began to see him as a friend.
- Umbria and Sam finally reuniting with each other. Both believed they were lost forever (and Sam never got to meet her mother in life), so them finally finding each other in Hell was a very special moment.
- The "Smart Angel" and "Buffster" plots showing the Hotel accepts their crew as they are, even in spite how flawed Angel Dust and Baxter can be sometimes.
- Angel being openly honest about Allie's situation of being in Hell, instead of sugarcoating it. He knows she's young and innocent, but believes that lying to her about where she is will only worsen things, calling Vaggie out for once, instead of the other way around.
