  • Dick and Bruce having a laugh and recalling fond memories of Alfred and Barbara over an encrypted channel.
  • In the Futures End tie-in, we have the romance between Dick and Helena play out, which eventually culminates in Helena going against her orders to save Dick's life.
  • Dick manages to talk down a trigger-happy killer by appealing to both emotion and logic. If he were to fire his gun, the killer's son would look up and see his father as a murderer. Sadly, the moment doesn't last.
  • Helena telling Dick that she knows he misses being Nightwing, being a hero, and running around rooftops at night. Seems like they're on their way to being Vitriolic Best Buds.
  • Knowing that Spyral wants a baby's super-powered heart, and what they may do to the baby to get it, Dick gives the child to a couple who have been praying for a child, and lies to Spyral that the baby perished. It's even implied that Helena corroborates the lie. This moment becomes Fridge Brilliance when you realize that it sounds an awful lot like a certain someone's origin story.
  • Issue 12 is full of these moments, as Dick returns to Gotham and is given 24 hours by Agent Zero to make his peace with the Bat-family. Some reactions regarding his Faking the Dead are expected—anger, disappointment—but each encounter ends amicably. However, taking the crown is Dick's reunion with Damian, the only one—excluding Alfred—who's initial reaction is sheer joy. After both express their shock that the other is alive, they share a hug.
  • The second Annual features a teamup with Superman and is their first meeting since Dick faked his death before joining Spyral. Clark's reunion with Dick is up there with Damian's for the sheer joy in finding him alive. Given the angst he goes through in the Truth storyline, it's a welcome change of pace.
    • The issue also shows one of their earliest team ups, back when Dick was still Robin. Robin and Superman are shown to be extremely friendly with each other, complete with fist bumps and already calling each other "Red" and "Blue", long before Batman accepted Big Blue.
