     Episode 26: Found & Lost
  • When talking to Keg, Beau says they're all on edge because they've lost family... before correcting herself to "party members". A possible hint that she's warming up to the group.
  • When fighting the bug monsters, Molly kept himself positioned between the monsters and Caleb. It goes to show how well they’ve learned each other’s preferences in battle, as well as trying to keep each other safe after losing half their party.
  • Molly getting the party to agree to help the Firbolgs captured by the Iron Shepherds, and giving one of his moon flasks to the Firbolg child, are Heartwarming in Hindsight given that Molly died at the end of the episode, so these good deeds were among his last actions.
  • Though the moment's initially played for laughs, the fact Molly spent his last night sleeping between friends comes across as Heartwarming in Hindsight.
  • Matt has a very pained and regretful expression on his face while he's deciding that Lorenzo would kill Molly (and for the rest of the episode, basically). He's the Dungeon Master, so it's his job to challenge the players and kill them when he must, but he's no Killer Game Master - he cares about the characters as much as anyone.
    • After the fact, some portions of the Critter community have been unfortunately lashing out at Matt. However, Matt has remained positive and loving throughout this process, listening to the angry voices and replying to them with nothing but warmth, grace, and understanding.

     Episode 27: Converging Fury
  • Beau's speech on how Molly would always try to leave places better than how he found them, and how awful she feels that the "best lie" she confided in him involved making people miserable. Molly's influence is making her want to be a better person.
  • Nott's explanation for not taking anything from Molly's body: "Molly said not to steal from happy people".
  • Nott talks to Caleb about how much she loves travelling with the group and how much of a better life they have now, and how Molly's love of life showed her this, pointing out how Molly's invitation to the circus was what brought the group together. She wants to save Jester, Fjord and Yasha not because they're useful, but because she loves them, and she hopes Caleb sees them the same way.

     Episode 28: Within the Nest
  • Caduceus Clay's introduction and reasons for wanting to journey with the group; he promised himself would leave if people came that allowed him to, having wanted to journey out of his small house for some time ever since it ended up just being him. He also mentions his sister with much fondness - she made his armour and staff - and is a gentle, kind person who has no trouble accepting the Mighty Nein as new travel companions and future friends. Meeting someone in Shadycreek Run who is like this is beyond amazing.
  • Nila's excitement at meeting another Firbolg. She gives Caduceus a big hug and is in awe of him in every way.
  • The sheer fury from the group at realizing the Iron Shepherds' Barbarian is using Yasha's weapon. They make a point of getting that weapon in the haversack as soon as they kill the Barbarian; they genuinely care for their friends despite having been together for only so much time.
    "No. It's Yasha's sword."
  • For the first time, Caleb kills an enemy with fire without suffering a PTSD episode as a result. The care, compassion, and lack of judgement he's been shown during flashbacks over the course of the series—most notably from Beau and Mollymauk— have clearly helped him start to heal. He takes a few steadying breaths, but is able to keep fighting by focusing on the chance to save the people he cares about.
  • Beau's Call-Back to Nila's speech about wanting to be relied on in the last episode, as Nila rescues her mate.
Beau: We relied on your mate here.
  • Nila's reunion with her family and her exit from the group. Sumalee is just as emotional as she is.
    • During this scene, Liam is also getting visibly emotional and hangs his head, speaking very softly to Marisha. She comforts him as they watch Nila reunite with her child. It's clear Liam is thinking of his own children and becoming sentimental.
    Liam: I don't like it.

     Episode 29: The Stalking Nightmare
  • Before the game starts, Brian Foster mentions that it's Travis' birthday. Cue a FaceTime call with Travis, Laura and their baby (who's snuggled up in Laura's shirt). The audience sings Happy Birthday to Travis and he makes one request of the rest of the party:
Travis: I want you to KICK SOME FUCKING ASS!
  • Shakaste returns, and he's happy to see friendly faces.
    • At the end of the episode, Nott wants to return (some of) the money she'd stolen from him last time, saying that they were now good people. Shakaste's response is to gently tell her that it was a gift.
  • Caleb offers for Keg and Shakaste to travel on with the group. Sadly, both decline (the curse of being a guest star), but when it's Caleb showing friendliness outright, that says a lot.
  • Fjord, Jester, and Yasha are all rescued, along with three unnamed people and Shakaste, and nobody died this time!
  • Beau and Keg end the episode basically saying they're going to have Glad-to-Be-Alive Sex all night long (after Ashly replaced "Keg is aroused" with "Keg's in love").
  • Even though they don't end up coming, Caleb is certain that Shakaste and Caduceus will come heal him as friends.
  • Nott's reaction when they finally rescue Jester.
    Nott: Case closed.

     Episode 30: The Journey Home
  • Beau once more provides a fitting eulogy for Mollymauk, this one shorter and arguably almost sweeter:
Beau: He was the best of us.
  • This exchange:
Beau: I would have laid down my life for you guys.
Jester: I would've healed you back.
  • Although he was already working on it Caleb plunges into a frenzy of research to create Leomund's Tiny Hut so that nothing like Fjord, Yasha, and Jester being kidnapped will ever happen again.
  • The Nein return to Molly's grave- and his coat's still there.
  • Caduceus casts a spell over Mollymauk, with the stated reason being "so the earth will remember him". Caduceus never even met him, but he is just so kind that he still did what he could.
  • After a few very rough weeks doing the Gentleman's work, and an especially harrowing last few days dealing with the Shepherds and Mollymauk's death, the Nein get some much-needed rest and reprieve when they get back to The Evening Nip. Alcohol flows like water, everyone gets a much-needed opportunity to unwind and decompress, and Caduceus gets officially accepted into the group with a hearty, if slightly bittersweet, welcome from Caleb.
Caleb: Caduceus Clay, we are your destiny!
  • Blink and you'll miss it, but Caleb used the word "friend" to refer to Beau - he now considers at least three of the Nein his friends (Nott, Yasha, and Beau).

     Episode 31: Commerce & Chaos
  • In their downtime, Nott forges a letter to the Soltrice Academy, trying to find information on Astrid for Caleb.
  • After her successful prank, Jester is again visited by the Traveler, who reassures her that he never left and that she is still his favorite - and that he'd love her to meet his other worshipers the next year, at what was soon dubbed "Traveler Con" by the other players.
    • What's more, he assures her in a somewhat less whimsical tone than he usually uses that if things had gotten any worse, he absolutely would have stepped in personally to deal with Lorenzo's gang to protect Jester. He also states that during it all, he was with her. It's also been implied that he was the young brothel employee who sent the group in Jester's direction.

     Episode 32: Beyond the Boundaries
  • Meeting up with Bryce was more than nice, especially with how friendly they are.
  • The Mighty Nein pay for Gustav to be freed.

Episode 33: The Ruby and the Sapphire
  • We finally meet Jester's mom...and she's absolutely wonderful. Alpha even half-jokingly calls her "Mom of the Year", which isn't that far off. Given how bad blood family tended to be in Campaign One and with many viewers wary of just how nice Marion Lavorre (as her full name turns out to be) was to her daughter, due to how sheltered Jester is, it's very pleasant to have her genuinely be caring and loving. Marion considers Jester her little darling — her "little sapphire" in fact, even wearing a choker set with a sapphire specifically to remember her always. Matt had previously noted how much he dislikes the trope of sex workers being abusive parents, and meeting Marion in person shows that.
    • After her performance Marion reveals that she specifically didn't take any clients for the night so she could instead spend the evening with Jester and meet her new friends. She's clearly delighted to learn that her daughter is surrounded by people that care for her and thanks them all for taking care of Jester.
    • Following that, upon realizing Marion has a stalker/harasser the whole team immediately decides to help her out.
    • Until this point the Ruby of the Sea has been mostly painted as a Sex Goddess and while she may be stunningly beautiful and attractive, Matt goes out of his way to emphasize Marion's intelligence and wisdom, her insightfulness and ability to bring comfort to any conversation, that mark the quality of her companionship.
