Heartwarming / Assassin's Creed : Forsaken

Go To

  • Connor gets a coda to Assassin's Creed III where he gets to answer to the fact, as a Native American, whether or not the slave-holding and expansionist United States was worthy of his support. Connor decides that its transformation into a free and just society might take centuries but stands by his choices. Given how much Connor went through during the game, it's nice to realize he's at peace with his decisions.
  • Haytham helping his son during the "hanging scene" in Assassin's Creed III; Connor was hooded so he couldn't see, but one of his Assassin recruits was unable to entirely break the noose — that was done by Haytham's thrown knife. It's a massive, massive Pet the Dog moment that arguably could have been a Heel–Face Turn for Haytham. Becomes a Tearjerker because Connor only finds out about this after killing his father.
  • Subverted with Haytham and Jenny's reunion. The two never really become close.
