• Why would Henk and his two Nintendo subordinates be arrested after they signed a business deal that was authorized by ELORG? After all, Gorbechav himself resisted the Maxwell's pressure.
  • The head of KGB had a deal with Robert Maxwell to stop the deal by any means necessary. So the idea was to detain them in order to force them to cancel the deal.

• Was Svetlana working for ELORG or the KGB guy who wanted the bribe?
  • Since she approaches Henk while he's in the hotel, before anybody knows he's even going to ELORG, it's safe to assume she is working for the KGB.
