Headscratchers / Ruby Gillman, Teenage Kraken

• How was Ruby able to turn into her giant kraken form after arguing with Agatha about Chelsea without touching any water? Wasn't that the only way to transform?
  • She had just gotten back from swimming with Chelsea (who was likely still soaking wet by the time that the argument took place), it directly ties back to her first ever transformation where Ruby had jumped into the ocean in an attempt to save Connor, who was still soaking with saltwater when she got to the library.

• How did Grandmamah know for sure that Nerissa never had a daughter? She was in hiding, and it had been years since she was defeated. That would be plenty of time for her to conceive, especially assuming she and Agatha did so at similar times which would mean Chelsea could very well be in Ruby's age group.
  • Given “Chelsea’s” cover story of her mother dying trying to get the trident it could be possible that Nerissa was presumed dead by the krakens after a failed retrieval attempt.
  • Someone in the kraken kingdom would've informed her if Nerissa ever had a daugher in the time she was hiding.
  • Maybe Grandmamah somehow managed to leave Nerissa infertile in one of their fights? That way, she could be absolutely sure that Nerissa couldn't have any child.
• So is the government of Oceanside just fine with Gordon throwing dangerous explosives into the ocean anytime he believes he has found a sea monster?
• On the subject of Gordon, he's well inside the bomb's explosion radius when it goes off. Why wouldn't he back away from a bomb apparently powerful enough to kill a kraken? He clearly had the time.
• When Ruby boards the prom ship, how is she able to transform in the seconds that she was in mid-air over the ship? On top of this, how is she already wearing her dress?
  • It's a cartoon.......I don't know, magic transformation I guess.
• Who is Grandpahpah (Agatha's father)?
• Why doesn't Ruby feel cold from battle but Agatha does?
