  • Wouldn't the real Harry Vanderspeigle have friends or family who would be wondering what happened to him when he didn't come back from vacation? If he was known to go to Patience for a week in the mountains, wouldn't somebody have called the sheriff to do a wellness check on him at some point to see if he was okay?
    • Watch episode 4.
    • Plus, Harry was already "helping out," filling in for the town doctor. If any of Real!Harry's contacts called, the sherriff could've just told them Harry was there, working.
  • Does the little girl really see Harry's alien form? Or is she just playing along with Max because she likes him and wants to be his friend?
    • Yes, she can see through Harry. She called him, "Disgusting" and "Definitely cut the brakes on your [Max's] bike".
      • Questionable. Normally when Max is around Harry, Harry is shown in his alien form, but we don't get that with Sahar. It's possible that she doesn't see through his form, but nevertheless believes his story. In any case, even if she wasn't entirely certain of his story before, the floating apple in episode 4 would seem to clinch it.
    • All the shots from her POV show Harry in his human guise. She didn't seem to quite believe Max at first, but went along with it because they both needed a friend.
  • If Harry never left his house because he was afraid of being caught, where did he get the cell phone that helped him with his first few operations?
    • Maybe it belonged to the original human Harry.
  • What did The Greys do with Peter Bach's unborn son?
    • Most likely experimentation and autopsy. Harry mentioned the Greys just kidnap people to put things up their butts as part of their ass fetish.
    • Common grey lore has them implanting their grey-human hybrids into human women to gestate and then later coming back to retrieve them before birth.
    • Confirmed, essentially. The Greys are creating Grey-human hybrids and it's likely that whatever they're doing with Robert is somehow involved with this. They've been abducting him repeatedly for years and, as far as they're concerned, they own him.
  • Why would Patience, Colorado only have two cops. Most small towns have at least three shifts of cops to cover all hours of the day
    • Nobody else will work for Sheriff Mike.
    • The Main Characters Do Everything
      • This, plus, as I recall, there's at least a third cop: the guy with the dog.
    • It would be realistic if Patience is a very small town. According to the FBI, the average in the USA is 2.4 sworn officers per 1,000 people. A two-officer police force would imply Patience has a population of around 833 people.
      • If it's in a populated county a small town/city could share officers with other people but that's not the case for Patience which appears far from its neighbors. That 2.4 per 1,000 people statistic doesn't account for small towns where you need a day shift and a night shift
  • Harry took his ship far away enough from the Earth so his device wouldn't affect the humans on it. Max was stowing away in his ship, however. How did Max survive?
    • It was also implied that the device could affect Harry as well, but he was fine. Maybe the spaceship itself shielded them from the device's wave?
    • Harry and his ship simply were not in the radius of the blast when the device went off.
    • It's mentioned earlier that the device draws its energy from the Earth's core. By detonating it outside of the planet's atmosphere, Harry might have cut the device off from its power source and limited how much damage it could do.
    • The device releases a visible green shockwave, and the ship is not within the shockwave when it goes off.
  • If Deputy Baker believes her memories have been altered, then why hasn't she at least tried contacting the FBI? They could tell her that there is no Agent Fisher and that they don't have an active investigation into the "dead-foot killer."
  • How in the world does Sahar have access to a full map of military installations in and around Patience, Colorado including "the underground ones nobody knows about"?
  • Why did Harry never search for the real Dr. Vanderspeigel's body? He has gills and his home planet is a frigid tundra, so he could have safely gone in the frozen lake before the thaw and retrieved the body before it could be found.
    • Not sure, but one possible theory is that the lake could have a very large capacity. Also, is it established that Harry has unlimited capacity the cold? The larger the body of water, the lower the temperature goes as well.
  • What year is this set? If it's the present day (2020-2022), D'Arcy Bloom would have an extremely slim chance of competitive skiing again roughly 15 years after the Torino Olympics.
    • It's implied to be present day. And, sure enough, things don't work out so well for her. Her old knee injury immediately flares up and she gets addicted to painkillers.
  • Why are the denizens of Patience (including Ben's wife) turning the resort into such an either/or situation? Surely there are ways to bring in a resort while preserving the Main Street character of the town that they can look into, rather than just show up as clear opposition.
  • Why would Deputy Baker not know how much she gets paid in relation to other people in the town? Surely, she's aware that cities have to make employees' salaries public
  • Why doesn't Asta tell D'Arcy about Harry. Wouldn't it cost her quite a bit if D'Arcy finds out that Asta kept such a secret from her?
    • Asta feels that she's protecting D'Arcy. In the second season finale, D'Arcy threatens to end their friendship becuase of her keeping secrets and Harry reveals himself.
  • How did Max steal Harry's model caldera? It is large enough he needed his buddies to help him carry it into the gym and all he has to get to the cabin is his bike. There is no way it would fit on that thing.
  • Harry's crashed ship is easily close enough to the cabin for him to easily go look for it without being absent from the town for extended periods, but there's also an early scene of him frightening a man on horseback before he encountered the human Harry, then riding his horse through the wilderness for an extended distance. Exactly how far did he travel and for how long after his ship had crashed? Watching the scenes where Harry is looking for his ship, you'd think he crashed the ship very close to the cabin and encountered the human Harry very shortly thereafter.
  • Sahar's hair is constantly visible, with her hijab apparently pinned on the crown of her head. This troper is genuinely unsure of the rules. Is it allowed as she's still young?
