• Why didn't Vidar kill Fjor for initially defecting from the family?
• Why did Laurits become codependent on Vidar? Especially when they'd really only knew each for what's probably a few weeks.
  • Laurits always sensed he was somewhat different from the rest of his family as shown when he looked at the picture with him somewhat apart from the rest. He was lonely, emotionally vulnerable, desperately craving a father figure. Vidar intentionally preyed on that.
