How come nobody put a stop to Carl's rampages? Law enforement definitely exists since in 8th episode Carl mentioned federal investigators and also Paul talks about calling the police. It shouldn't take too much effort to incapacitate a single deranged llama. It's like they didn't even try.
Considering that Carl can dismember people, nuke cities, topple governments, frame Paul as a Russian drug lord, and even make a rift in the universe, it is too much of a stretch for Carl to easily cover up the evidence it was him and avoid law enforcement? Besides, it's a web series. Nothing makes any sense in a world where you have a llama that can kill everyone in the entire planet.
The only one that can stop Carl is Carl.
What does the Paul mask (which really is just a figment of Carl's twisted mind) mean by "Carl finishing his work"? What was he supposed to do?
It's not real clear but we do know Carl went off the deep end by that point, so he might not have anything to do, except, well, go off the deep end. Since he unalives himself, maybe that was it, but we'll never know.
Two explans: 1) Carl turned off the lights but disassociated and so he thinks someone else did it or 2), the basilisk did it. It's implied it was the first one. I don't think there was electricity in the gore pit and llamas can't really clap, so that removes the possibilities of clappers.
