- What was so appalling about John dating Darcy in "Heart Breaker?" She may have been quite a bit younger than him, but she was also intelligent, successful, and seemed to genuinely care about him. It wasn't as if she was right out of high school, either...she was almost 30. The reactions from the other characters in this episode seemed quite overstated to say the least.
- It's still quite a jarring age difference given that Becker is in his mid-fifties when the series begins. He is nearly twice her age. To use the standard phrase, he's easily old enough to be her father, which is rather Squicky fro some people.
